I was just talking with @santiyer of @MercedesBenzInd on the Ethanol issue and he told me that all MB India Petrol cars sold in India since 2020 are materially compliant with E20. Of the 200,000 vehicles MB India has sold in India since they started as a company over half have come in that timeframe.
In fact, he highlighted that the new S450e Plug-In Hybrid is actually E25 compliant. Pointing out that India did not start E20 overnight and went through steps in between from E15 and E18, he believes that some of the problems that are cropping up are because of fuel-pump level adulteration and the situation is nowhere as bad as some elements are talking about.
However, he did highlight that the company and industry should be given a proper heads-up on future blending plans and ratios. Interestingly, sales of electrics among top-end vehicles has gone up significantly with one in four TEVs now being electric dominated by the EQS SUV.
Agree. Indian policy has evolved within the ambit of the 2 state solution. The view in the 80s was idealistic. Now the position is fairly straightforward: having a Palestinian state. It reduces the diplomatic burden on India, even though it won’t bring peace.
“The reason a court reaches so easily for human safety versus animal interest is Agnosia: a cultivated almost trained blindness. When a child is hurt, we see the dog with absolute clarity but we do not see the municipal neglect of waste collection, sterilisation drives and the absence of animal shelters” - Professor Vivek Mukherjee the faculty coordinator of the Animal Rights Centre on the question of an inclination of the State towards its obligation under Article 21 prevailing over ordinary animal welfare regulations.

This is not any longer about the government or the @PMOIndia this is about insulting the people of India , tarnishing our reputation with lies and getting away with it. She has fabricated stories before and jeopardised India’s security. What more do we need to throw her out. @DrSJaishankar ?
KPS Gill was a patriot. He saved India. We should be perpetually grateful to him.
People are complicated. No human is 100% good or bad. Even the finest humans have personal flaws. Were there undocumented killings, including of cops by cops in Punjab? Yes. Were there human rights abuses yes. But that in no way negates the fact that KPS saved India. Every conversation about him does not need to be caveated. If you insist on the caveats, you also need to insist on caveats to Sutlej.
Let’s also be clear, Khalra did fight for human rights. But let’s be equally clear he was a funded stooge of terrorists who actively colluded with them and did their over ground work.
A “fair” movie (if that even exists) would show all those sides. Should the movie be banned? No. Why? Because it went unnoticed and the ban has created a Streisand effect. That said, the film maker hasn’t lost any money, he’s got his payday. Only the OTT lost money. The film maker is not deterred the OTT is. Diljit also got paid his “acting fees”. You want to deter Diljit - actively pirate all his songs and videos without consequences & ensure record companies incur massive losses. Ditto the film maker.
Also there is no “Khalistan” movement- just a bunch of drug peddlers trying to use terms like “political dissent” to get asylum abroad.
This is exactly how their propaganda machinery works.
Zubair deliberately cut and edited the video, intentionally hiding the most crucial part of the exchange. He selectively stripped away the context where Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto explicitly initiated the conversation about the number 8 being his lucky number.
By removing the first half of the interaction, this fake news brigade manufactured a completely false narrative to mock the Prime Minister of India, passing off a lighthearted, respectful diplomatic reply as something else entirely.
It is a classic case of using half-truths and malicious editing to mislead people for an agenda.
Hon’ SC has appointed Mary E. John as a member in National Task Force on mental health.
She preached Marxist perspective in IGNOU syllabus. Openly defended Marxism.
Now you can imagine what kind of report will come out. @narendramodi Govt is sleeping on this.
I worked in Punjab as a journalist during the peak of militancy. Later in my career, I headed the Punjab Cell in the CBI, which had, in its past, investigated cases of fake encounters as well as the assassination of Sardar Beant Singh.
Those experiences gave me a rare opportunity to see both sides of that tragic period. They taught me that any honest account of those years must acknowledge both sides of the story.
And that is exactly my concern with Satluj: not what it shows, but what it leaves out. It tells only half the truth; the other half is left unsaid, deliberately, and with a purpose.
The film decontextualizes Jaswant Singh Khalra and the human rights debate from the Pakistan-backed, brutal Khalistani insurgency. This omission is neither an innocent creative choice nor an inadvertent one. And, in my view, the intent behind such a selective portrayal should matter to every Indian.
Shiv Aroor asks a question to the corporator asking if he regrets his action? His response : I am a dalit, doctor a dalit, proud of her but am dalit .. whats with the caste invocation in the case of clear violence?
But I thought the second avatar of Rommel, Zil-e-ilahi, Marshal of Marshals - Grand Field Marshal Asim Munir had “contained, reduced and made the insurgency manageable”?
Needless to say their response will be their only undeniable expertise: terrorism. Because they’re cowards who can fight fair & square.
In fact @OfficialDGISPR happily admits that the pakistan army are irrational & unprofessional. He actually seems proud of it.
Pak Army on Baloch freedom fighters killing 43 pak occupation troops
• 🇮🇳 orchestrated 🇦🇫 is an Indian proxy
• Taliban is “illegitimate”
• Nobody can deter pakistan
Question to @OfficialDGISPR what’s deterring you from doing to India, what we did to you in 2025?
We should brace for a BIG Pakistani terror attack soon. It’s the pattern.
• 43 pak troops killed in Balochistan
• remember the Pahalgam attack was preceded by the Balochistan train attack
• India was blamed for that attack as well
• Pakistan likes to test new found security partners
• remember they carried out the Parliament attack in Dec 2001, just 3 months after 9/11
• this was done to test the reliability of US security guarantees after Pakistan agreed to host the US invasion of Afghanistan
• going against an Islamic country - not popular
• India serves as a useful distraction from domestic failure
• when India retaliates, they can play victim, claim victory & promote Munir to grand supreme marshal
And now they’re doing the same thing to you, every day, day after day, several times a day. It’s so much fun to see a public homosexual like you getting a big schlong up the arse and enjoying it so publicly because the same thing happened to me 259 years ago.
A man lights a cigarette while sitting in a cab.
CAB DRIVER: Sir, did you ask me before lighting a cigarette? Smoking is not allowed in my car.
MAN: Why should I ask you? It’s not your car, it’s a taxi. You can’t just say smoking isn’t allowed 😳
DRIVER: I am cancelling the ride. I don’t want your money. Please get out of my car. I’m a taxi driver, not your servant 😠
This is the esoteric bullshit that tries to add shine to what is plainly a dumb, incompetent and corrupt modern society where rustic social order inside homes is getting stronger and urban civic order outside homes is getting wilder. India's chaos does only one function -- it reassures the poor that the nation hasn't left them behind. And this function is purely an accident of incompetence.
