@HarrowingDell I think beyond local styles (love, duck, dear) you can reach an age where everyone doing things around you suddenly seems much younger. It's not gradual. Adding an appreciative "dear" just seems polite to me now in a way it never did before

@OrionsBeltMag I have a mental/emotional block with sim subs. So it is one at a time, over and over again. Some stories get benched for a future review and possible rewrite but I haven't trunked any (yet). From experience, there's a home for every story, you just have to edit and try again.
