Clarity Upon Salafiyyah [THREAD] 🧵
Brief Notes from the Lecture
The Shaykh started with the Hadith about coming together and learning about the religion:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
"People do not gather in the houses of Allah, reciting the Book of Allah and studying it together, but that tranquility will descend upon them, mercy will cover them, angels will surround them, and Allah will mention them to those near Him."
[Sahih Muslim 2699]
This emphasises the importance and virtue of coming together for learning and remembrance of Allah.
The Path to Jannah
The Prophet ﷺ drew a straight line and said:
“This is the straight path of Allah.” Then, the Prophet drew lines to the right and left, saying, “These are other paths, and there is no path among them but that a devil is upon it calling to its way.” Then, the Prophet recited the verse:
"And verily, this is My Straight Path, so follow it, and follow not (other) paths, for they will separate you away from His Path” [6:153]
[Musnad Ahmad 4437]
This illustrates the clear path of Islam and warns against deviating from it.
The Prophet ﷺ mentioned:
“Verily, the children of Israel split into seventy-one sects and this nation will surely split into seventy-two sects. All of them are in the Hellfire except one: the Jama'ah”
[Sunan Ibn Majah 3993]
The saved group are those who follow what the Prophet ﷺ and his companions were upon.
When degenerate grifters like Charlie Veitch go around shoving cameras in people's faces, harassing them for a reaction even when their families are around; it's championed as free speech.
When a racist is outed on camera it is viewed as instigation.
Double standards.
The number of Uncle Toms in the comments is concerning. It's easy to say 'keep calm' in the heat of the moment when your sister is crying and an old hag is running her mouth.
These animals need accountability. Without it, they will feel like they can get away with more.
