Dear @mehdirhasan
This lying double-mouthed dishonest aide called Daniel Bwala that you publicly exposed his hypocrisy to the world a few months ago, now claims Al Jazeera “apologised” to him over your interview with him.
Please is this claim true?
And if true, what exactly did Al Jazeera apologise to him for?
Dear Nigerians,
Pls retweet until @mehdirhasan sees this and publicly responds to clear the air.

After watching this video,
I came to agree with @ruffydfire that Landmark Beach Resort and other Estates in Lagos was destroyed intentionally, not for road development.
Believe me, the late Buhari wasn’t this dangerous and heartless toward investors who came willingly to invest in Nigeria during his presidency, but today we have Bola Tinubu running a cartel system of governance with power drunk individuals.
The first method for estimating the intelligence of a ruler is to look at the men he has around him. If a man surrounds himself with flatterers, cowards, power-drunk individuals, and people who only agree with him, he is not truly powerful. He is controlled by the need to feel safe.
Strong leaders do the opposite. They keep sharp, capable people close, even those who challenge them, because strength grows through pressure, not comfort.
You can pretend to be confident and wear the mask of authority, but your circle always reveals the truth in how weak and corrupt you are.
The people beside you show your standards, your courage, and your ambition.
When you surround yourself with fools, their mistakes become your failures.
When you surround yourself with thinkers and intelligent people, their victories strengthen your rule.
We fail to understand that power is never built alone. It is built by the hands you choose to trust.
In the end, the world judges you not only by what you achieved, but by who stood beside you while you were building it.
Tinubu is dangerous.
David Umahi is evil!

🇳🇬 Nigerians, please stay awake and pay close attention to what is happening at the National Assembly.
There are growing concerns that the Bola Tinubu administration may be attempting to quietly alter Nigeria’s tax laws in ways that directly affect citizens’ hard-earned money.
For those who may not fully understand what the lawmaker was explaining, here is the confirmed situation in clear terms.
Earlier today, during plenary at the House of Representatives, Hon. Abdulsammad Dasuki (PDP, Sokoto) raised a formal Point of Privilege, alleging that the officially gazetted versions of Nigeria’s new tax reform laws DO NOT MATCH the bills that were debated, voted on, and passed by the National Assembly.
Dasuki stated that he personally reviewed the documents over a three-day period, comparing the gazetted copies with the Votes and Proceedings of both chambers, as well as the final harmonized bills approved by lawmakers.
According to him, what lawmakers passed is NOT exactly what was PUBLISHED AS LAW.
The potential loopholes he is drawing attention to include possible changes to commencement dates, which could alter when the taxes take effect; the insertion or removal of clauses affecting exemptions, thresholds, or who ultimately bears the tax burden; EXPANDED DISCRETIONARY POWERS for tax authorities beyond what lawmakers approved; and wording changes that could WIDEN THE SCOPE of taxation or enforcement without legislative consent.
He warned that if such alterations are confirmed, they would constitute a breach of legislative privilege and raise serious constitutional concerns, since only the National Assembly has the authority to make or amend laws.
Do you now see why we have to scrutinize with undiluted aggression that MOU those crooks signed with imperialist France?
Dasuki has formally requested that all versions of the documents be brought before the House for full scrutiny.
PLEASE JOIN THIS VERY IMPORTANT CONVERSATION O!
🆕🇬 The House of Representatives member, Hon. Abdulsammad Dasuki (PDP‑Sokoto), today alleged that the gazetted tax reform laws differ from the versions passed by the National Assembly.
You all should know that this act of legislative sabotage is extremely serious and constitutes an impeachable offense, as it directly undermines the authority of the legislature and the integrity of Nigeria’s lawmaking process.
In 2016 on Christmas day, I will never forget it.
Fulani herdsmen attacked my village, killed my cousins and other family members, burnt down my grandparents house, my uncles houses and people's houses. We spent our Christmas running for our lives.
Since then, anytime farmers go to the farm they don't always come back alive.
In 2021 my grandmother and my aunties went to the farm, they all were butchered, cut to pieces by herdsmen except for one who survived but lost her hand because they thought she was de@d.
On the 12 of December, the same village, some people were in the farm harvesting beans as usual, Fulani herdsmen came with their cows and started eating the beans, the women spoke to the Fulani herdsmen to remove their cows and they started attacking them, all of them ran for their lives except for one who fell down and Fulani herdsmen were able to amputate her hand and cut her shoulders. But thank God she was able to escape.
Yesterday @instablog9ja and @SaharaReporters posted it and told people she was attacked because her family rejected a marriage proposal by Fulani herdsmen. They changed the narrative and made everyone believe she was attacked because of a marriage proposal. This is the same village that has always been under attack by Fulani herdsmen since 2016.
I may not have a big voice here or a lot of followers but I'll not keep quiet and allow you to lie to everyone about this.
Let me explain in plain English why every Nigerian industry and Government must start funding university researches.
Imagine your company wants innovation.
You hire 4 researchers.
You pay ₦1 million per month each.
That’s ₦4 million monthly
₦48 million yearly
For 4 brains.
Now pause.
With just ₦20–30 million as a research grant, you could engage:
• 20 PhDs
• 50 MSc students
• Multiple professors
• Labs + peer review
• Global validation
Inside a university.
More brains.
More ideas.
Less cost.
Better results.
This is why industries fund universities abroad.
Tesla doesn’t do all research alone.
Apple doesn’t.
Shell doesn’t.
Pfizer doesn’t.
They pay universities to think.
Universities produce:
• Patents
• Prototypes
• Breakthroughs
• Spin-off companies
Industries take the IP.
They scale it.
They make billions.
Everyone wins.
So why do foreign governments fund university research?
Because research = economic weapon.
The US funds universities →
Patents →
Companies →
Exports →
Global dominance.
China funds universities →
Factories →
Technology transfer →
World market control.
Germany funds universities →
Engineering breakthroughs →
Industrial supremacy.
Now compare Nigeria.
Our universities are idle.
Lecturers are broke.
Labs are empty.
Students are underused which pushed the to join cults.
Yet industries are crying:
“innovation no dey”
“foreign tech is expensive”
“we can’t compete globally”
How will you compete when you don’t invest in thinking?
We turned universities into glorified secondary schools.
No serious grants.
No serious research.
No serious industry collaboration.
This must change.
If Nigerian industries redirect even 10% of HR & R&D budgets to university research:
• Universities get busy
• Students become inventors
• Lecturers become innovators
• Industries get cheaper innovation
• Nigeria gets patents
• Nigeria gets relevance
This is not charity.
It’s smart capitalism.
No serious country develops without industry-driven university research.
Until Nigerian industries wake up,
we will keep importing ideas
and exporting our talents and future.
