🤖💸 AI agents may become the next major demand engine for stablecoins.

In BlackRock’s “The Machine Native Economy” thesis, autonomous AI agents could increasingly buy data, access APIs, and pay for computing power on their own creating demand for money that works as continuously as machines do.

Traditional banking rails weren’t designed for this. Stablecoins, however, can enable 24/7, near-instant, low cost blockchain payments, making them a natural fit for machine to machine transactions.

@BlackRock also points to tokenized compute as a potential new digital asset layer.

With stablecoins already exceeding $300B in circulation and more than $11T in adjusted transaction volume in 2025, the next chapter of crypto may be driven not only by people but by AI paying AI.

For @inter_link , this trend highlights a broader opportunity. If the next generation of digital activity becomes increasingly automated, the infrastructure connecting identity + AI + payments + digital assets could become far more important.

The future may not only be humans transacting with humans, it could also be AI interacting with AI.
