Assalamu Alaikum, and thank God it is Jumu'ah.
On this day of Juma'ah, may the Al-Quddus (The Absolutely Pure) grant us the awareness and grace to purify our hearts and whatever we tend to do to attain the right path that will bring us closer to Him, our Maker.
We remind those who have taken our children in captivity of the words of Muhammad, sallallahu alayhi wasalaam, who said, "Whoever believes in GOD and the Last Day would not hurt his neighbour".
If you believe in the prophet, we appeal to you to repent and return those children so that they and their parents may find respite.
I also pray that the Almighty continues to put a barrier between us and whatever will take us away from Him, harm us, or inflict pain on us, and that He may give us the strength and good patience to cope with our trials.
May the Almighty God answer our prayers, increase our iman and grant us sabr, taqwa, shifa, and endless blessings that will promote peaceful coexistence among us.
Juma'at Mubarak
Before you give your girlfriend or pastor that money, ask yourself if you have given even half of that to your parents, especially your mother. You came out of your mother, and even if she does not ask, she deserves the first fruit of anything that comes out of you. Giving your girlfriend money attracts absolutely no blessing from God. Giving your pastor money is useless in God's sight if you have not first honoured your parents. Your pastor, wife, girlfriend, friends, and acquaintances are fruits of your life. But your parents are the roots of your life. Any gardener who focuses on the fruits of a tree and ignores the roots of that tree will soon lose everything because, without roots, the tree will die!

Thank God it's Jumu'ah. Our thanks are even further elevated as this Jumu'ah falls in the sacred month of Ramadan.
May the At-Tawwab (The Ever-Pardoning) forgive and pardon our shortcomings, common mistakes, and sins that easily beset us this holy month of Ramadan.
I also use this blessed day of Juma'ah to urge the faithful to reverence God by purifying our hearts and intentions, and live from the purity of purpose. Demonstrate honesty, trust, and show love and kindness to our brothers and sisters.
And when you do iftar, do consider the less privileged. Some people are fasting and not breaking, not by choice but by compulsion, because they have no food.
May Almighty God continue to grant salama, taqwa, shifa, and peaceful coexistence among us. And especially sabri, in these times of global tensions.
Please continue to pray for peaceful religious coexistence in Nigeria that we may be a model for the world.
Juma'at Mubarak and Ramadan Kareem.
