Access to justice is key to lasting peace.

Before stabilization efforts began, many conflict-affected communities in Northeast Nigeria had no access to justice. Disputes went unresolved, human rights abuses unchecked, and tensions often reignited.

Through the Regional Stabilization Facility, that story is changing. Rebuilt courts, mobile legal aid teams, and human rights awareness campaigns are helping people seek redress, rebuild trust and resolve conflicts peacefully.

The delegation led by Amb. Wouter Willem, @NLAmbPlomp, @NLinNigeria had a strategic meeting with the JTF northeast (operation Hadin Kai).

They explored areas of collaboration with the military on providing solutions to key security challenges faced by communities in the region.

What pained me most in the Mohbad saga is that, his immediate family failed him. He was a victim of disoriented family, a neglectful father and a mother who no one is yet to confirm her whereabouts. It’s so painful how a boy of his age went through a lot in a short period of time
