Normalizing the sexualization of youthful-looking characters has gone too far. If you feel the same, please check out this petition and consider signing/sharing
Dear NCOSE Team,
I wanted to bring to your attention a petition concerning the new protagonist Evie in Shift Up’s upcoming video game Stellar Blade: Blood Rain.
Many players are concerned that Evie’s youthful appearance, combined with the game’s heavy sexualization (revealing outfits and jiggle physics on intimate areas), risks normalizing the sexualization of youthful-looking characters in mainstream video games.

Shift Up’s CEO (@jamm3rd) has publicly stated that Evie’s outfits will be “even more appealing,” despite widespread feedback that she looks significantly younger than the original protagonist Eve. I believe this falls under your mission regarding the sexualization of minors/young-looking individuals in media.
Thank you for the important work you do.
Best regards

@MegamanRA Hypocrisy, that's rich.
Stellar Blade "fans" have been conditioned to be deceived and manipulated.
@SHIFTUP_Corp, @jamm3rd and all the shill accounts have cultivated a fan base with "Stockholm syndrome".
The REAL Stellar Blade fans that loved Eve and the first game have been pruned over time.
Notice how no one is upset that the trailer is using generative A.i.
Then conflate that with the censorship that's still present in the first game, the Day 1 PS5 adopters scam, or having Denuvo on a single-player game.
Imagine claiming to be “red pill” while fighting for a youthful, underage-looking sexualized character design OVER a sexualized mature one.
All we want is Evie with a clearly mature adult appearance so we can get back to enjoying the game.
@Vara_Dark
I find it disingenuous to claim the petition is trying to censor anything.
There’s nothing “there” to censor — that’s the problem.
Evie’s appearance is ambiguous enough that you had to ask @jamm3rd about her age.
When the first game released, I created the FreeStellarBlade website to highlight the censorship that Shift Up admitted to (not Sony, not copyright).
You were aware of the website because you liked my post in your Discord, but you never covered it or responded to my email.
You had the chance to ask @jamm3rd about the censorship still present in the first game, the Day 1 PS5 adopters scam, or Denuvo on a single-player game.
Instead, you expressed reservations about Evie’s youthful appearance - until @jamm3rd made you feel comfortable about it.
You’re only against censorship when it doesn’t affect the bag.
Actions speak louder than monetized videos.
Imagine claiming to be “red pill” while fighting for a youthful, underage-looking sexualized character design over a sexualized mature one.

Evie looks significantly younger than Eve, yet the game is pushing revealing outfits and physics.
We support fanservice — but sexualizing a youthful-appearing character crosses a line.

You weren't right about anything.
I was unsure if Lily had "jiggle" physics, which she practically doesn't.
It was never about if Lily and Eve had different bodies.
Yes, studios can design whatever they want, that’s true.
But when a studio intentionally designs a main protagonist to look significantly younger (as Shift Up admitted), and then pairs that with heavy sexualization (revealing outfits + jiggle physics), the right thing to do is push back.
It’s not an "issue with perception." It’s calling out a design choice that is inappropriate.
Lily did not have the same jiggle physics as Eve.
I just played back scenes with Lily.
Lily had a small swaying motion when she turns but you can barely tell.
Eve has more of a bounce jiggle that’s more exaggerated.
Respectfully, I’m not here to convince you that Evie looks underage.
Evie’s design is ambiguous and it was intentional.
The whole purpose of the petition is to not normalize the sexualization of characters that appear underage

Yes I remember all of that.
However Lily isn’t the main character and I don’t remember there being jiggle physics on her.
To me, Lily appears older than Evie and Kaya.
When I see Evie, she reminds me of Kaya because how similar in age they appear to be.
Shift Up released a day one patch, that censored the most revealing outfits in the game. They admitted they censored the outfits in an ambiguous way(not Sony and not copyright)
Shift Up never uncensored those original outfits.
Holiday Rabbit is still Granny Rabbit
I think you’re mistaken Red Hood as the Bunny outfit replacement, but it doesn’t have the tail nor the ears that made peculiar.
