@kris_sims@kodgechindler She offered the same NOTHING and refused to negotiate in good faith on the things that need to be changed! Once more for the people in the back: CLASS SIZE MATTERS!
@AnnCoulter Reactivated my account on this dumpster fire of a platform to tell you what a steaming piece of shit person you are. And too stupid to even try to hide it.
@JMeddings 7. It’s not perfect anywhere… and we can have a conversation about the relative evils of different systems, but our system is a failure. It’s costing lives, quality of lives, and incalculable sums of $ nobody is even bothering to measure.
Rant over. ☮️
@JMeddings My recommendation: 1. Albertans should marching in the streets! Speaking as a transplant from a place with access to actual timely care (for me .. not for all…. I know…) it is mind blowing that Canadians accept this level of care without real actionable outrage.
@JMeddings 6. I know people will come at me for saying this out loud…. But I truly believe that Canadians just sigh and take it because most of them
have not experienced good healthcare! They think it’s like this everywhere. It’s not!
@JMeddings There ARE countries with full access to healthcare for all of their citizens with functioning systems. Can we not learn from them? Are we so attached to our fantastical thinking EVEN when it is not working that we won’t learn and grow? Our system is failing and getting worse.
@JMeddings 5. I love Canada…. I do. But being held hostage to this seemingly irreparable health care system is too much to bare. We should SUE the govt for breach of contract, en masse.
@JMeddings 4. depression and other deteriorating mental health conditions brought on from the hopelessness of having to rely on such a broken system…. Who is measuring these affects on our society? What is the cost?
@JMeddings 3. Are where are the discussions about the trickle down failures of this system? Addiction spawned by people living in chronic pain for years before they can get care, people losing their homes because they can no longer pay their mortgage because they can no longer work…
@JMeddings 2. We are a first world country whose citizens pay high taxes for third world healthcare.
And we point to the erroneous salve that “at least we’re all in it together” which is total BS because anyone with money goes elsewhere to be taken care of.
