More than a decade after the Paris Agreement, greenhouse gas emissions continue to rise, accelerating climate change.
Humanity still has time to act #NowForClimate and curb these emissions.
Here's how you can take action: https://t.co/ifqDdDsUQ7
Migratory species do far more than move across borders: they help keep ecosystems working. 🌱
Elephants disperse seeds and shape landscapes. Whales move nutrients through the ocean and help store carbon. Bats pollinate plants and control insects. Vultures clean up carcasses. Marine turtles, sharks, waterbirds and many others support healthy habitats, food webs and livelihoods.
By safeguarding #MigratorySpecies, we protect the benefits that people and nature rely on every day. And because their journeys cross borders, countries must work together to make sure wildlife conservation gains made in one country are not lost in the next.

From mountains and hills to plateaus and plains, land is life.
It provides oxygen and acts as an essential carbon sink that regulates the planet's temperature and absorbs its carbon emissions.
Yet unsustainable use is putting these vital ecosystems at risk.
