November/December 2014.
A Russian tank convoy (separatists according to Russia) stopped in Starobesheve, Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine.
The tanks carried Russian Railways N2200 oversized-load markings, and some displayed camouflage previously seen during an exercise near Moscow in August.
This column was claimed to be 'separatists' and was designated as the "Donetsk" tank battalion, consisting of seven Russian T-72B tanks. However, one of the tanks had a camouflage pattern so distinct that exactly the same camouflage pattern was used in the Russian "Tank Biathlon 2014," which took place in August 2014 in Alabino, near Moscow, Russia.
The very specific Russian camouflage pattern can be seen here: https://t.co/b8IAPOewtG
Conclusion: Proven again that these were not "separatists" as claimed by Russia, but rather the Russian military.
@Montrey82631182 is doing excellent work reviewing and publishing footage from the first year of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, when Russia consistently claimed that these forces were merely "separatists".
