@fesshole My dad's place did about 3 rounds of "voluntary redundancy/ early retirement" and he'd put himself forwards every time, but because the one person they wanted to leave never stepped forwards they stopped the process every time before it even started!

@BothersBar My TV hates me so it's probably just a me thing. I only have to watch via iplayer because my TV signal is absent 90% of the time, it makes it a nice surprise when I switch on and there's picture. But it cuts out again, like between the judging and results of Bake Off this week!!

@adamfare1996 Conversely, Cineworld (I think) used to do a kids snack deal, small popcorn and drink plus mini choc bar, all in a box. I regularly ordered it until one day I was told it was only for kids. Now if I go I don't have anything. Business plan = nothing>something 🤷‍♀️

@adamfare1996 I've been to a pub that serves pizzas, online they have a children's menu which is just smaller sizes, funnily enough in the actual pub there's no mention of them. I asked if I could have a kids pizza and after a quizzical expression was told yes. I just wanted less pizza!
