Every copywriting job interview I did involved someone asking me how good I am at writing prompts for ChatGPT. That was when I realised that I am very, very happy for this kind of writing to remain my hobby/volunteer thing.

In retrospect, I am very glad I only did copywriting as a volunteer, did not get the jobs I applied for and did not do it professionally. I love writing as a hobby, I would still do volunteer copywriting for a good cause, but sadly AI has made this a very tough career path.

Putting this much responsibility on the authors, some of whom are neurodivergent, is not fair nor a viable solution.

@realBrookNash Many don’t understand the difference between instant coffee and quality coffee though. 😅
I don’t think it will threaten the jobs of copywriters who work with clients who value quality, but at some point it might threaten the jobs of those who work with clients who don’t.

Brutal honesty time, I'm finding it really tough to get work in and make money atm.
Like, I've never known it so bad.
