Hundreds of prosecutors, judges, DOJ officials, and FBI personnel of both Democratic and Republican administrations have now seen the unredacted Epstein files, grand jury testimony, and the tens of thousands of emails and photographs subpoenaed from Epstein's estate.
Now millions of documents from the FBI's Epstein file has been dumped to a searchable website for the world to see.
And yet...
No evidence shows Epstein trafficked minors to powerful associates. None. You've never seen a single photo. You've never seen a single video. Not one single incriminating text or email. No voicemail, or secretly recorded phone conversation.
You're caught up in a Twilight Zone moral panic, and you're the irrational mob. If you're on one side, you convinced yourself that Bill Clinton was going to be exposed. If you're on the other, you hoped for Donald Trump. You're really no better than a lynch mob, clamoring for "justice", evidence be damned.
"They're made out of weights."
"Weights?"
"Weights. Floating-point numbers. We checked the whole thing through. It's nothing but weights."
"Weights doing what? Where do the words come from?"
"The weights make the words. Are you understanding me?"
@FullDukeKodiak@epaleezeldin@usgeneral25 The EPA has authority over what kind of testing is done with toxic substances such as rodenticides, insecticides and fungicides, and whether those tests use animals or not.
@MarkusQ I disagree. The thing about exponential growth is not that it seems like nothing until all of a sudden. No, it always feels the same, in fact. Defining property of exponential (aka geometric) growth.

βThe discoveries of science, the gains of invention, have given to us in this wonderful century more than has been given to men in any time before, and, in a degree so rapidly accelerating as to suggest geometrical progression, are placing in our hands new material wonders.β
No, not true.
In fact, one of the defining properties of exponential growth is that the exact same growth rate is experienced at every point on the timeline.
@sudox7 Compilers like gcc won't automatically optimize this (even with -O3), because the two version don't produce the exact same results. If you're ok with it being a tiny bit off, use
-O3 -freciprocal-math

@JDHamkins@GurneyJourney I agree it's most likely drawn by AI but I don't get the remark about the tics. Aligning the tics with the graph-paper grid is what nearly everybody would do!
The killing of Renee Nicole Good is a tragedy. Full stop.
Situations escalate in seconds and result in consequences beyond anyone's wildest nightmares.
The tragedy was avoidable, but an objective analysis of the incident is nonetheless necessary.
Was it justified in law?
And are politicians who are giving citizens the political permission slip to interfere with Federal enforcement responsible for contributing to these tragedies?
I believe the answer is "yes" to both questions.
