Immigrant detainees were not forced to drink from the toilet. Kavanaugh did not run a rape ring in high school. Hillary Clinton did not run a child-sex-trafficking ring out of the basement of Comet Ping Pong. Blacks commit a wildly disproportionate number of violent crimes. Trump never suggested drinking bleach. Obama was born in Hawaii. Michelle Obama is a woman. Lia Thomas is not.

Talarico ran this race-baiting ad in Black areas specifically. He says Crystal Mason was sentenced to 5 years because of Paxton's crack down on voters of color.
Crystal Mason was found guilty of "arson of habitation" in the mid 1990s. She was given probation, which she then violated. Still, she wasn't given prison time, her probation period was extended.
A few years later, Mason was found guilty of forgery. Even with a criminal record, she was not sent to prison. Once again she was given probation.
Then, in 2011, she was convicted of tampering with a government record. She was given deferred adjudication.
In 2013 the DOJ, led by African-American person of color Eric Holder, appointed by the African-American person of color President of the United States, investigated Mason for tax fraud. The investigation was led by Latina Attorney of Year and person of color Sarah Saldaña. Mason was convicted of major tax fraud. She'd filed 488 fraudulent tax returns on behalf of clients. For this, she got a 5-year sentence, of which she served 3 and was then on supervised release.
While on supervised release she was prohibited from voting. But she voted, and a Tarrant County judge gave her a harsh 5-year sentence. She later appealed and won, so didn't actually go back to prison.
But Ken Paxton had nothing to do with any of this.
