Early last year I had the privilege of leading @noondesign’s initial round of financing and partnering with two founders looking to tackle one of the most ambitious problems in product design. What started as an investment quickly turned into a much deeper collaboration. I'm excited to share that I joined the Noon team last year to build alongside @bandiaditya , @kushagrasinha7 and the incredible team they’ve assembled.
Product designers today are caught between a canvas and code. Design lives in one place, production code lives in another. Everything in between is translation and that’s where things break.
Noon is the first design tool rebuilt from the ground up that works entirely on your product code, so you can design how it looks and how it works. With AI that works in seconds, not minutes.
We’ve quietly been working with a number of leading designers and are excited to open up access soon. If you’re a designer, or know a designer that wants to get early access, we can’t wait to show you what we’re up to.
Grateful to @chemistry@firstround@ScribbleVC@AforeVC@svangel@soleio@joulee@iansilber@lil_dill@johnnie and the many others who believed in us early.
This attitude is reflected in the culture now generally. Craft don’t matter anymore; not in politics, sports, academia, nothing. The goal is to get paid and maybe put in some effort after that. The problem with that approach is that it makes dampens the quality of field overall.
This effort to trivialize the significance of our greatest heroes in some corners of our community needs to be shamed. Over the years, I’ve seen people practically copy and paste from the FBI’s playbook to criticize King. I’ve seen folks disrespect Frederick Douglass too.
NEW: Alabama is farming out incarcerated people to work at hundreds of companies, including McDonald’s & Wendy’s.
The state takes 40% of wages and often denies parole to keep people as cheap labor.
Getting written up can lead to solitary confinement. This is modern day slavery.
Y’all not embarrassed that no policy promises have been made to you, yet you've already started raising money for her campaign? Isn't that embarrassing? It's like you don't care if she achieves anything as long as she's in office, right?
