@Birmingham_81 Kraftwerk was a big influence for me as a kid. My parents had man machine on vinyl. Listening to it used to transport me into an imaginary sci-fi world. It was so much fun when I later got my hands on synthesisers and drum machines.
My book The Coming Wave is out today:

It's about technology, AI, society and the future. Getting to this point has been the culmination of more than a decade of building AI and thinking about its impact.
I’ve tried to confront the extraordinary moment of change before us by taking an honest look at the enormous risks, but also the immense benefits, of the new technological revolutions that are underway.
We’re drowning in headlines about AI. It’s easy to fall into the trap of thinking only about the short term—the next product release, the next headline etc. But in doing so I feel like sometimes we fail to confront the bigger picture of technological waves unfolding over many decades and what this means for the future of the nation state and for humanity itself. This book is my attempt to change that.
I genuinely appreciate anyone who takes the time to read it, and hope you find a useful and stimulating book. Look forward to discussing it with you all!

@instagram I don't know what you've done to your algorithm. I never once followed or liked cute animal posts. Now my feed is flooded with them and I can't see things I'm genuinely interested in. If this continues its game over.

@MarcusCVance My name is Irish, pronounced Key-er-ran. Most people get after a few attempts. But for some reason every single French person I meet instantly calls me Keh-rey-an, no matter how many times I correct them. I lived in France for 4 years and learned to embrace it as my French name.
@lauraklein Initiatives rolled out to introduce company wide governance for Agile ways of working that assume sufficient ratios of design and user research resources exist, with no discussion about what do to if this is not the case.
@johncutlefish Newsletters mostly don't get read. The majority of people don't check Twitter or LinkedIn every day. Many of us have information overload. If it's important, keep repeating it, stimulate discussion on the topic, write some articles.
