1/ #SeriousPeople has been working hard to formulate a way to tangibly define how efficient DAO grants are.

With how many large DAO’s we have coming online, it’s imperative we start to define standard ways to measure value spent vs value returned to the ecosystem. This is a complex problem in a wicked learning environment, which makes this fun!

We would like to showcase our ‘Return on Emissions’ (ROE) metric #SeriousPeople coined and how we are working to test it in the upcoming LTIP Pilot on Arbitrum, followed by where we can go from here as an industry!

7/ Whats amazing is anyone can use this simple framework to think about all token emissions.

Project owners should strive to achieve high ROE on all token emissions.

Community members should be EVEN MORE incentivized to make sure projects do not recklessly emit tokens. This DILUTES THEIR SHARE. That’s bad. They lose money.

Interesting thoughts from @themandalore9 on the pros and cons of liquidity mining. One that stuck out to me was how massive APY's really lead to a race to the bottom and is likely not advantageous in the long run.

Ethereum's Vitalik Buterin says "base-layer scalability ... is still years away."

Also, "the Ethereum ecosystem is likely to be all-in on rollups (plus some plasma and channels)"

This is why L2 scaling solutions look like highly attractive investment opportunities right now.
