I used to have a roommate who unfortunately wasn't practicing. The first time I prayed with him in the room I was in a hurry and didn't pray any Sunnahs. When I finished, he looked at me shocked and said: You finished that fast? When I used to watch my grandmother pray she would keep praying forever! So I explained to him what Fard/Sunnah is and that his grandmother was praying additional voluntary prayers which I left out. After that interaction, I made sure to only pray Fard in front of him and no Sunnahs, and I'd delay them or pray somewhere else. My intention was that if he one day repents and decides to start praying, Shaytan wouldn't have leverage over him telling him that Salah is long and exhausting and will strip from his "valuable" time. And that he'd remember how I used to finish prayer in a short time and continue what I was doing normally. May Allah guide him and all the Muslims..
