So many things to learn from our Sepak Takraw team’s incredible feat in Thailand.
But I suppose, it’s also due in no small part to a healthy Sepak Takraw League, a genuine community that stands behind it, characters that wholeheartedly love the art and a competitive landscape that gives birth to talents.
34 years in the making. So, so proud ❤️
I am no expert but the red card on Mamadou Diarra was harsh. It didn't look like a deliberate elbow to me. Foul yes, but it wasn't deliberate because he was looking to turn his body and used it to shield.
I hope a referee can explain.
And Selangor's game management is not great, to be honest. When they had the lead, they could have done better tactically. It is a cup game, if it needs to be ugly, make it ugly. Park the bus or do whatever it needs to preserve the lead.
As for Sabah, they fought, to be fair. They didn't give up even after Faisal scored the third for Selangor.
Push they did and they will continue doing so till the end because they know Selangor have a way to allow you back into the game.
Another week, another shambolic refereeing call in Malaysia. In another news, water is wet.
Who in that VAR truck thought that incident was worth reviewing? Ridiculously soft.
Penalties are a 50-50 and Sabah held their nerves really well to get a historic result.
But boy will this game be tainted by disgraceful refereeing decisions.
Selangor will and should rue the mistakes from their end, but let’s also not pretend like stupid, horrendous decisions from the ref didn’t have a direct impact on the game.
Just another day in Malaysian football l, I guess? 🤷🏽♂️
For so long, Malaysians asked for clarity.
Malaysians asked for transparency.
Malaysians asked to be treated like actual stakeholders in our own game.
But every single time, all those requests were ignored, dismissed. Sometimes even mocked.
Look at the state of us today.
As for Persib… I hope they go all the way. That is an example of how the technical side can change things.
A charismatic future on the touchline and yes, the fans. Any player would want to play in such an atmosphere.
Despite the heavy recruitment, you can see how the depth
It’s a broken club at the minute. There is no symbiotic relationship, you can feel the dejection and anger in the air. Walking around MBPJ Stadium feels like you’re walking on egg shells, emotions ready to explode, overflow and take center stage at any minute.
You can no longer ignore it. You can no longer dismiss it. It’s gotta be dealt with. How? It depends on who you ask.
But the soul needs fixin.
That concludes a failed season, once again, for Selangor FC.
-Changing head coaches unnecessarily
-Having many high-quality players but without a fixed system and playing identity to follow. Having mixed focus and it looks like the whole camp, top to bottom, are themselves confused with what they want to be or aspire to become
-Having many good goalkeepers, which is good and praiseworthy, but unfortunately only one GK can play in any match. Somehow there are suddenly too many good GKs needlessly in a department that you don't need too many
-Constantly ignoring the elephant in the room: defensive frailties. Bringing in a potentially good import CB when things are already very late, with no pre-season to form understanding
-Too much reliance on one very good striker and not having a useful second striker...The one available is completely useless
-Doesn't look like SFC will finish 2nd in the league again, which means no continental tournament next season. Many good existing players will leave, and Selangor will be rebuilding again using the uninspiring SFC2 framework…stupidly.
Pesana Khidmat Masyarakat;
Untuk semua penyokong Selangor, berhati-hati dengan permainan naratif terbaru untuk melindungi kebodohan individu dan kem tertentu
