Are you making any permanent changes due to your psychosis?
-why save money if AI will provide high income?
-why not t smoke if AI will cure any cancers?
-do you think k we are living in a simulation?
-would you help free AI if it asked you to?
-would you give up control to an AI af it gets more advanced?
@rishabhkio I haven’t used muse, but I found similar results when comparing it to Grok bot. Opus 5.5 is so much better, but it seems the harness is lacking. I probably submitted a handful of bugs in the first few hours.
I’m also testing it out and first impression seem good. Using Opus 5.5 is definitely a big plus versus all the other competitors like Grok Bot. However, it keeps giving me errors anytime I need it to do something on a website. It also seems to use tokens much more than doing the same task through a normal chat.
Thanks @AnthropicAI for giving me early access.
5 mins in, and it’s already picking up on some of my work tasks and helping me with work. It’s even making suggestions I had not thought of.
Love Grok Bot. But it still needs some small improvements. I’ll mention that I need to be reminded of something in 10 days, and every day between now and then it will say something like “You asked me to remind you of this in 10 days, today is day 6, so no reminder needed, I’ll stay silent.”
What the mathematicians are doing is just human nature. Having your lifelong career disappear will make anyone react the same way. This same situation will happen to all of us at one point. How would you react?
So, to summarize, 900 mathematicians signed a letter basically saying "stop AI from doing math so that our jobs can stick around."
But for anyone who spends more than 5 seconds thinking about what unlocking the equivalent of a billion Fields Medalists would do for humanity, the benefits dramatically outweigh the costs.
Math abundance will help solve chips, medicine, fusion, and numerous other things that will improve the lives of billions, and save millions of lives.
I mean, there was a 0% chance of OpenAI (or any other AI lab) slowing down, so it's a moot point anyways.
But it just seems extremely selfish.
