Govt: “If one flyover doesn't work, we'll build another. And another.”

Govt: “That's not development. Development means flyovers.”

Meanwhile, every monsoon Hyderabad witnesses waterlogging, flooded roads and the consequences of replacing natural systems with concrete. Yet the answer remains the same: more flyovers.

Even Hyderabad's last green lung, KBR National Park, is being asked to pay the price for this unscientific obsession. 🌳

No cumulative EIA.
No meaningful public hearing.
Disregard for the 2021 High Court stay order.

Flyovers are being presented as the solution to every urban problem. Citizens are asking a simple question: if they are the solution, why do the problems keep growing?
