@Keir_Starmer has done what Hamas couldn't manage with rockets, rape and murder: he's handed them a political victory at the diplomatic table - gift-wrapped, no conditions attached. In threatening to recognise Palestinian statehood unless Israel rewrites its Gaza policy by September, the Prime Minister has set a deadline - not for terrorists, not for the corrupt Palestinian Authority, not for the jihadist fanatics running Gaza - but for the only democracy in the Middle East.
Let's call this what it is: capitulation dressed up as "moral clarity."
There are no demands on the Palestinians. None. Not to disarm Hamas. Not to stop incitement. Not to reform education. Not even to accept the continued existence of Israel. The only "conditions" laid out are for Israel - the state still burying its dead from the October 7 pogrom, the state still holding funerals for its butchered civilians, the state still trying to retrieve hostages from Hamas tunnels while UN bureaucrats wag their fingers. The message from Downing Street is plain: if Israel doesn't comply with our new moral code, we'll reward the people sworn to destroy it.
This isn't diplomacy. It's blackmail. And it stinks of cowardice.
Let's be clear about what Starmer's threatening: formal recognition of a Palestinian state governed by factions that either deny Israel's right to exist or actively seek its annihilation. A "state" run in the West Bank by an unelected Mahmoud Abbas whose term expired fifteen years ago, and in Gaza by Hamas - the same death cult that burned babies and filmed it.
Where is the requirement for a democratic mandate? For peaceful coexistence? For an end to the glorification of terror? Nowhere. Because in Starmer's moral framework, Israel - the victim - must be lectured, while the perpetrators are coddled.
And he's cheered on by the usual suspects: Emily Thornberry, giddy with ideological triumphalism. David Lammy, quoting the Balfour Declaration like a first-year student, as if the Jewish homeland were a colonial sin rather than a civilisational rebirth. The Liberal Democrats, of course, never miss a chance to betray the West - calling for sanctions on Israel while mumbling the bare minimum about hostages.
Let's stop pretending this is about peace. It's about pandering - to the UN, to the Islamic bloc, and to Britain's swelling pro-Palestinian lobby, whose votes are now treated as more valuable than truth, consistency, or national honour.
This move undermines every moral principle the West once held dear. It tells the world that terrorism works. That if you massacre Jews with enough intensity, if you weaponise civilian suffering with enough PR savvy, the so-called civilised nations will fold. Worse still, it sends a message to Britain's own enemies: our foreign policy is up for auction, and the loudest, most radical voices win.
There is no dignity in recognising a state that celebrates murder, educates children to hate, and elevates martyrdom over peace. There is no justice in demanding Israel compromise while its enemies sharpen their knives. And there is no leadership in following the mob.
Starmer's September deadline isn't a milestone on the path to peace. It's a warning flare: Britain has lost its moral compass, and with it, any claim to be an honest broker.
If he goes through with it, history won't record this as a brave decision - but as the day Britain legitimised terror in pursuit of applause.
"Let's stop pretending this is about peace. It's about pandering - to the UN, to the Islamic bloc, and to Britain's swelling pro-Palestinian lobby, whose votes are now treated as more valuable than truth, consistency, or national honour."
He murdered their father in front of their eyes.
He went to the family fridge and stole a drink.
Drank it in front of the terrified children.
The Gaza man who murdered Gil Ta'asa in Kibbutz Netiv Ha'asara is all I can think of when I see the hateful ๐ต๐ธ flag.
@xIsraelExposedx This is disheartening. But it's not a genocide. It's war. Maybe don't use your own children in the battlefield like in this clip (0:32) and stop using them as human shield will help. #HamasIsIsis https://t.co/7HpPJ3uSjs
โ๏ธA Hamas terrorist cell of ~20 terrorists attempted to raid the humanitarian area in Khan Yunis
The IAF, with direction from IDF troops, eliminated the terrorists without harming the uninvolved Gazan civilians who were held by them.
Hamas continues to brutally exploit Gazan civilians as human shields. In spite of their terrorist activities, so far over 870,000 residents have safely evacuated south from Gaza City.
In one of the most complex humanitarian environments in modern history, GHF delivered 187 million free meals directly to civilians in Gaza in under 4.5 months โ safely, efficiently, and without a single instance of looting or diversion.
As we conclude our emergency operations, we leave behind a proven model for how adaptability, local partnership, and accountability can redefine what effective humanitarian aid looks like in conflict zones.
โI am deeply proud of what we accomplished together and hopeful that our work will inform how the world responds to crises in the future. To our team, partners, donors, and above all, the people of Gaza: thank you for allowing us to serve.โ โ John Acree, GHF Executive Director

"Lover" is a beautiful ballade.
Midnights win. Love your music Taylor
Moshe Feiglin Ha Ha ๐remind me in what party is he ?? Oh right, the one that doesn't exist... And this "Kroizer" dude nobody knows who he is... You're cherry picking. Tell your friends in #HamasIsIsis to stop lying and use their own citizens as human shield. https://t.co/2vzynWMZp6
Hamas terrorists are firing mortars from tents in civilian clothing.
When Israel kills them, Hamas claims they were just innocent civilians.
It was all propaganda from the beginning.
Thousands of Iranians have been murdered for fighting for their freedom against the Islamic regime in the last 72 hours.
The United Nations? Silent.โจHuman rights organizations? Silent.โจAmnesty International? Silent.
Their silence is deafening.
Iโve actually lost count of how many videos I have of Hamas shooting and killing their own people. There are literally hundreds. And yet the media have placed an almost moratorium on showing any.
Well, I will expose it all.
Itโs brutal and shocking, and whatโs most glaring is that there are always โciviliansโ standing around and cheering it on.
@MorettiTweets@25_mcdc@TedRall Why do you show only half truths ?? Why do you use your own citizens as humans shield... ? The solider 100% was sure he was shot from that direction. #HamasIsIsis uses children as they travel the battlefield... See 0:32

@MorettiTweets@25_mcdc@TedRall Is that why during the 90's and early 2000's Israelis elected again and again Gov'ts that wanted to attain a peace agreement ? Guess who said no ?
