A Falcon 9 rocket exploded on a launch pad as part of a static fire test in Florida ten years ago. What can Blue Origin learn from this?

@primediscussion@saintwarrick Booster support can mean a lot of things these days. One thing that is true regardless of performance is that FSU does not have tech/finance billionaires stroking big checks as a few other programs do.
If I had to guess how this will all play out:
1) At least in the short term, the Iranian regime that emerges from this will be wounded, reactive and more hardline than before
2) Because of 1, the only plausible “victory” to be won is to degrade Iran militarily to the point that
@itskeefis@blueorigin@SpaceInvestor_D The FAA being a major holdup in rocket flights was largely an Elon myth. The fact that SpaceX was the only one who had a problem with it kinda told the story.
Great thread and article. I didn’t come at it from the cultural angle, but jettisoning a lot of the “fat guys should dress like this to make themselves look skinny” advice and way of thinking has been a major growth point.
I wrote something about how to dress for your body type. When people talk about this, they often frame solutions as a corrective — clothes that make fat men look slimmer or short men look taller. I think dressing for your body type is more nuanced. 🧵
dont know anything about spencer pratt. but imo it's not a good idea for male politicians to wear black dress shirts, which were historically associated with seedy nightclub owners and criminals. does not inspire trust.
@dieworkwear The thing that makes it confusing is there’s no standard naming convention for open weave wool, and a lightweight wool can be either super fine and densely weaved or high twist/fresco/tropical/whatever marketing name the mill uses.
Hot take: No one should be introduced to LotR via the extended editions of the Jackson movies. Those are for established fans and book readers.
The theatrical versions are much better movies from a standalone perspective.
