#WATCH | Hyderabad, Telangana | BJP MP Arvind Dharmapuri says, “Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has departed for a 9-10 day UK and US visit in which his first meeting is at Blavatnik School of Governance, Oxford. This school has been a hub for anti-India activities and a global narrative against Modi's government… It is important to note that there has been no major UPA-era-like bomb blast in India post 2014… There were 27 serial bomb blasts which occurred in this country between 2004 and 2014 and around 1100 innocent Indian lives were lost… One article displayed on their website calls upon the international community to work through NGOs and civil society organisations to pressurise the Indian government. This website also speaks against abrogation of Article 370, against the Ayodhya Movement and the development thereafter… Why is the Chief Minister going to the school and meeting people who spit venom on a daily basis against India?”

August 20, 1921: Moplah Riots Started in Malabar. 10,000 Hindus Were Massacred by Islamic Radicals. Communists and Congress Tried to Hide it for 125 Years.
On 20 August 1921, the British police attempted to arrest Vadakkevittil Muhammed, the secretary of the Khilafat Committee of Eranad, alleging that he had stolen the pistol of a Hindu landlord from a manor. Muhammed was from the Mappilah (Muslim) community and his arrest led to a crowd of 2,000 Mappilas from the area blocking the arrest.
On the following day the police arrested a number of volunteers of the Khilafat Movement (started by Gandhi) and seized records at the Mambaram mosque in Tirurangadi, leading to rumours that the building had been desecrated. However what began as an anti-British revolt soon found new targets in helpless Hindus.
Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar recounts what happened:
“It was the result of the agitation carried out by two Muslim organizations, the Khuddam-i-Kaba (servants of the Mecca Shrine) and the Central Khilafat Committee. Agitators actually preached the doctrine that India under British Government was Dar-ul-Harab and that the Muslims must fight against it and if they could not, they must carry out the alternative principle of Hijrat."
"The Moplas were suddenly carried off their feet by this agitation. The outbreak was essentially a rebellion against the British Government. The aim was to establish the kingdom of Islam by overthrowing the British Government. Knives, swords and spears were secretly manufactured, bands of desperadoes collected for an attack on British authority….."
"As soon as the administration had been paralyzed, the Moplas declared that swaraj had been established. A certain Ali Mudaliar was proclaimed Raja, Khilafat flags were flown, and Eranad and Wallurana were declared Khilafat Kingdoms."
"As a rebellion against the British Government it was quite understandable. But what baffled most was the treatment accorded by the Moplas to the Hindus of Malabar. The Hindus were visited by a dire fate at the hands of the Moplas."
"Massacres, forcible conversions, desecrations of temples, foul outrages upon women, such as ripping open pregnant women, pillage arson and destruction – in short all the accompaniments of brutal and unrestrained barbarism, were perpetrated freely by the Moplas upon the Hindus until such time as troops could be hurried to the task of restoring order through a difficult and extensive tract of the country.
"This was not a Hindu-Muslim riot. This was a Bartholomew (violent, one-sided religious massacre). The number of Hindus who were killed, wounded or converted, is not known. But the number must have been enormous.”
As far as Hindu victims are concerned, there are no official figures. Yet from the writings, statements of victims and available documents, it can be concluded the riots claimed up to 10,000 lives. Estimates show that nearly 300 temples were partially or fully damaged, properties worth crores of rupees belonging to Hindus were looted or burned. Nearly 200,000 Hindu refugees reached various relief camps in neighbouring districts. No Hindu family were remained unaffected in Eranad.
Ambedkar writes that the “Mopla Rebellion” received praise from Khilafat leaders and the Mapillas were congratulated on fighting bravely. Now this was at the height of Gandhi’s cooperation with the Khilafat movement.
Ambedkar is hardly complimentary when he writes:
“Any person could have said that this was too heavy a price to pay for Hindu-Muslim unity. But Mr. Gandhi was so much obsessed by the necessity of establishing Hindu-Muslim unity that he was prepared to make light of the doings of the Moplas and the Khilafats who were congratulating them. He spoke of the Moplas as the “brave God-fearingMoplas who were fighting for what they consider as religion and in a manner which they consider as religious.”…The Resolution passed by the Working Committee of the Congress on the Mopla atrocities shows how careful the Congress was not to hurt the feelings of the Musalmans.”
MGS Narayanan, former Chairman, ICHR, New Delhi wrote, “Gandhiji was politically innocent at that time to assume in the context of British India that the poor and illiterate Muslim community in India could be drawn into an active political struggle against the British power easily. To please the Muslims, he supported the case of the moribund Khilafat that the British had done away with in Turkey at the close of the First World War. Later Gandhi regretted this folly in sponsoring the Khilafat, but it was too late by that time — the damage was done. Instead of coaxing Muslims into social reform and modern education, the Khilafat had legitimised their conservative religious instincts and roused their fears and suspicions about the outside world. It strengthened their communalism, which thrived on hatred against the Hindu Kafirs, lying dormant from the days of Alauddin Khilji and Aurangazeb.”
Successive Left and Congress governments of Kerala airbrushed the massacre from history books. After independence, a concerted attempt was launched to whitewash Hindu genocide by describing it as a ‘peasant uprising’, and as a ‘freedom struggle’. The communist government under EMS Namboodiripad, even granted ‘freedom fighter' pensions to these rioters and religious fanatics who participated in the ethnic cleansing of Hindus of Malabar.

@TheOfficialSBI Where is the common man supposed to go?
Caught in a spiral of bank fees, taxes, inflation and rising costs — while those in power keep finding fresh ways to take a cut.
This isn’t governance. It’s a slow, systematic squeeze on ordinary people’s lives and futures.
Enough is enough
Banks charging us to take out our own money.
SBI from 1 Oct: BSBD accounts get only 4 free cash withdrawals a month. Beyond that — ₹15 + GST every time.
Official reason? “Encourage digital.”
The common man’s hard-earned cash just got another silent cut.
@TheOfficialSBI This is not abstract economics.
It is the daily reality of families cutting back on everything, postponing dreams, and watching purchasing power erode.
Savings go down. Security disappears. Surviving becomes harder every single year.
