Instead of confronting the deepening crisis facing ordinary Americans, Donald Trump is pouring billions upon billions of public money into arming Israel with some of the most advanced and devastating weapons ever manufactured, weapons that are being used in a war that has brought unimaginable suffering to the Palestinian people - fitting perfectly true meaning of a genocide.

At the same time, the United States spends staggering sums maintaining hundreds of military bases across the globe, projecting power in the name of “security” while entrenching an imperial agenda of military and economic domination.

And yet at home, millions of working-class Americans live from paycheck to paycheck. Healthcare costs rise while coverage declines. Communities are hollowed out by unemployment, addiction, and violent crime born of desperation. Schools crumble. Infrastructure decays. Families ration medication. Workers juggle two or three jobs and still cannot breathe.

Imagine what even a fraction of those billions could do if redirected toward healthcare, education, housing, public transport, and decent wages. Those resources could transform working-class living standards overnight. They could rebuild cities, guarantee dignity in retirement, and secure a future for the next generation.

Instead, the priorities are clear: weapons over welfare, domination over dignity, war over wellbeing.

That is not leadership. It is a moral failure.
