Why?
Starting in the day/ in the morning allows you to monitor the child for any allergic reactions to the medication and get help if need be.

FAITH WORKS WONDERS. Faith moves forward whereas unbelief stands still. Faith works in the temporal and in the eternal realm, in the natural realm and the supernatural realm. Faith sees what we cannot see; it sees things that are invisible and spiritual and yet real, substantial. “Now, faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1. The things that are not seen but are hoped for, need to be grasped by faith. True faith lays hold of those things that are not seen but are hoped for, because faith which works with the power of God, by the grace of God, and with the permission of God, touches those things and claims them as owned. Without faith, it is not possible to get those things that are presently out of reach or in the future. Faith moves forward to apprehend those things of God that are hoped for and also earnestly prayed for.

Dear friend, God intends to give you good things, but those good things are to be obtained by faith which is itself a great gift from God. So, when you get the good things that you hoped for and prayed for, you are blessed, faith is crowned, and God gets the glory. Exercise faith yet excel in love. Of these three graces, faith, hope and love, we know that love is the greatest and that love shall abide and endure, always and forever. Amen. 1 Corinthians 13:13. Jesus, the beloved Son of God His Father, told His disciples on the evening of the Last Supper, on the evening when He washed their feet, “A new commandment I give unto you, that you love one another as I have loved you.”

And John, a faithful and loved disciple of Jesus, who was there at the Last Supper, who also had His feet washed by Jesus and who stood at the Cross comforting Mary the mother of Jesus, wrote to us saying, “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God, and knows God. Whoever does not love, does not know God; for God is love.” John 13:34 & 1 John 4:7-8. Our childlike faith, our highest hopes and our utmost love should centre in and focus on Jesus, our blessed Redeemer, divine Friend, glorious Lord and heaven-sent Saviour who suffered upon the Cross so that we would not suffer the outpoured wrath, the just punishment and the everlasting pain for our sins that was due to us. He bore our sins that we might be washed by His blood, indwelt by the Holy Spirit, be made heirs of Heaven and become the possessors of everlasting glory.

It’ll be helpful to you, and helpful to someone who doesn’t have faith, and to someone whose faith is dwindling or waning. It’s written in a warm, colloquial style, from a Christian perspective. God sent His beloved Son into the world to save sinners. “The love of God was manifested towards us in this, because God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we who deserve death might live through Him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that God loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.”

“For all of us have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. But we are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ, Jesus, whom God has set forth to be a propitiation through faith in His blood, to declare God’s righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the patient forbearance of God; to declare, I say, God’s righteousness, that God might be just, and the justifier of those who believe in Jesus. 1 John 4:9-10 & Romans 3:23-26.

Dear friend, there is no other way to be saved and there is no other Saviour. We shall find hope in the Cross and get strength from the Cross. And it is from the Cross, from the very blood and death of Christ who hung there between two condemned thieves that we are released from the sentence of condemnation that was upon us. The blood-shedding and death of our Saviour Jesus is God’s way of declaring that sin has been thoroughly punished, and also God’s way of declaring that justice has been fully satisfied. Thankfully, it is also a declaration of Divine grace because someone else was substituted for us, the penalty has been paid by another person who bore our sins, and thus we are offered forgiveness.

In the Cross we see God’s severity and God’s kindness. The two things are true but appear contradictory, a paradox, which when investigated is nevertheless found to be correct and truthful. Golgotha is the place where justice and mercy meet. There we see Jesus, the innocent One, the holy One, suffering for the guilty, us, so that we might be redeemed, rescued and reconciled to God, made right with God and able to stand before Him, restored to favour. It is difficult for people to understand but as we look at the Cross we see the ultimate demonstration, the perfect expression of God’s love and justice in motion.

When I survey the wondrous Cross,
On which the Prince of Glory died,
My richest gain I count but loss,
And pour contempt on all my pride.

See from His head, His hands, His feet,
Sorrow and love flow mingling down;
Did ever such love and sorrow meet,
Or thorns compose so rich a crown?

Were the whole realm of nature mine,
That were an offering far too small;
Love so amazing, so divine,
Demands my soul, my life, my all.

Embrace the wonders of faith, ever keep hope alive, let love lead the way to the heavenly Kingdom. Faith is like a sturdy bridge between earth and the gates of the Kingdom of Heaven. We need faith in order to reach the desired destination. Without faith it’s impossible to get there, and therefore it’s impossible to enter. But thanks to faith, we may enter His gates with thanksgiving in our hearts, we may enter His courts with praise. We may say, “This is the day that the Lord has made. We shall rejoice for He has made us glad, He has made us glad.” Why are we so glad? God raised Jesus from the dead on the third day. We shall be raised from death too, at the Second Advent. God has given us new life and hope and His own Spirit to dwell in us and to teach us the will and ways of God our Father. With God, nothing is impossible. This should give you confidence in your prayers and increase your hope, for it shows that all things are possible to those who believe, because in exercising true faith you are in fact aligning your desires with divine realities. By faith we are encouraged to take bold steps forward; faith propels us forward, to reach for what seems unattainable but towards that which God has made available and promises.

By faith Enoch walked with God and then God took him, even Enoch who pleased God, and was taken from this world, so that he did not experience death. And Enoch also, who lived seven generations after Adam, prophesied saying, “Behold, the LORD shall come with ten thousands of His saints, to execute judgment upon all the ungodly, and to convince all that are ungodly of all their ungodly deeds.” Hebrews 11:5 & Jude 14-15. “By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, namely the deluge, in holy fear built an ark to save himself and his family and the animals. By acting in faith, he condemned the world of ungodly men, and became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.” “By faith Abraham, when he was called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, leaving Ur, which was near the Euphrates River in Southern Mesopotamia, modern-day Iraq, and Abram journeyed by faith even though he did not know exactly where he was going, but he trusted God to guide him.”

“And by faith even Sarah, Abraham’s wife, who was past childbearing age and infertile, received strength and was enabled to give birth to a child, even Isaac, because she considered the LORD who had made the promise to be faithful.” So Sarah laughed and Abraham celebrated for they became parents in their old age. Do not underestimate faith. “By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a passing season, regarding the reproach of Christ to be far greater riches than all the treasures of Egypt; for Moses was looking to the reward.” He fixed his gaze on the everlasting reward and focused. He kept his eyes on the prize, the unfading crown of glory.

By faith the harlot Rahab and all her family did not perish in Jericho with them that believed not, since she received the two scouts that came to Jericho with peace. And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthah; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions; quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the aggressors of the foreign armies.

Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection: And others had trials of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; of whom the world was not worthy. They wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth. And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect. See Hebrews, chapter 11.

So, you see how faith is vital, more important than riches and prestige and things that are of this world. By faith, “A woman who had an issue of blood, who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind Jesus one day and touched the edge of His cloak, touched just the hem of His garment. She said to herself, ‘If I only touch His cloak, I will be healed.’ And she was! She was cured at that very moment, immediately. Jesus knew what she had done and knew what had happened because He knew all things. He knew that tremendous healing power had gone forth from Him, power from His limitless supply of power. Jesus turned and saw the woman, and lovingly said before all the crowd, ‘Take heart, daughter, your faith has healed you.’” Matthew 9:20-22.

By faith, “A certain centurion came to Jesus, when Jesus had entered Capernaum, and begged Him for help. ‘Lord,’ he said, ‘my servant lies at home sick with paralysis, terribly tormented.’ Jesus was prepared to go with him and heal the servant. However, the centurion, a Gentile, insisted, ‘Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just speak the word, and my servant will be healed. You have power and authority.’ Then Jesus tenderly said to the centurion, ‘Go back home! And it shall be done according to your faith, just as you have believed.’” And marvel of marvels! The man’s servant was healed at that moment.

Jesus then spoke about the faith of the centurion, a foreigner in the Roman army. Jesus addressed all those who stood around Him, “Truly, I have not found such great faith, no, not in all Israel. And I say to you that many will come from the east and from the west and will take their place at the feast with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the Kingdom of Heaven. But the children of the kingdom will be outside, cast into outer darkness. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” Matthew 8:5-13.

By faith, “A woman with an alabaster jar of very expensive, fragrant ointment, who lived a sinful life, came to Jesus when she learned that He would be eating at the house of a certain Pharisee named Simon. So she, Mary of Bethany, came there and began to wash Jesus’ feet with her tears, and to dry His feet with her hair. She poured her precious, sweet-smelling ointment upon His feet, and she kissed His feet. Then Jesus lovingly said to her, 'Your sins are forgiven. Your faith has saved you; go in peace.’” Luke 7:36-50. Simon the faithless, inhospitable Pharisee was displeased. In some places Jesus of Nazareth was welcomed well, and in other places He was not welcomed at all.

In some places Jesus of Nazareth met with exceptional unbelief, and in those places, He could not do many mighty works because of the people’s unbelief. Once when coming to His hometown, Jesus began to teach the people in their synagogue. They were astonished and said, “Where did this man get such wisdom and miraculous powers? Isn’t this the carpenter’s son? Isn’t his mother named Mary? And are not his brothers James, Joseph, Simon, and Judas? And are not his sisters here with us? So where did he get all this power and wisdom?” We learn from the Holy Bible that they took offense at Him. But Jesus said to them, “A prophet has honour, except in his own country, and in his own house.” And therefore, Jesus did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief. Matthew 13:57-58. Faith effects miracles, faith opens doors, faith moves mountains. Unbelief displeases God and is rebuked wherever it is found lurking. “Woe unto you, Chorazin! woe unto you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, which have been done in you, they would have a great while ago repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.” Luke 10:13.

By faith, “A blind man, Bartimaeus (which means 'son of Timaeus'), who was sitting by the roadside in Jericho begging, when he heard from the crowd that it was Jesus of Nazareth passing by with His disciples, began to shout out again and again, ‘Jesus, Son of David, have mercy upon me, have mercy upon me!’ So, Jesus stopped and talked with Him and asked him what he wanted. The man wanted to see. ‘Your faith has healed you,’ said Jesus. Immediately Bartimaeus received sight and followed Jesus along the road, rejoicing.” Mark 10:46-52. Hallelujah, hallelujah! Bartimaeus could see; he could view all things clearly, the colours were vivid, the shapes were discernible, everything was sharp and in focus. Jesus is Lord, Jesus is Lord!

By faith, “One of the two thieves, who was hanging on a cross beside Jesus, received salvation. He repented, turned to the other malefactor who also was condemned to death by crucifixion, and told him to stop shouting at Jesus. The sinner who came to his senses said to the other felon, ‘Don’t you fear God? We are being punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man, Jesus, has done no wrong.’ The penitent criminal turned to Jesus and cried, ‘Lord, remember me when You come into your Kingdom.’ Jesus mercifully answered him with a promise, ‘Truly I tell you, today you will be with Me in paradise.’” Luke 23:39-43. That man watched as our Jesus died for sinners. That man was saved by faith, evidently saved by grace, not by works. He could not boast. Praise the Messiah, exalt the King of the Jews, the King of all Israel, the King of kings, the Lord of lords.

Dear friend, look forward with faith to the great and glorious day when Lord Christ Jesus shall appear, when we shall see Him as He is. Glorified. 👑 Focus on following Him obediently, always listening to the Holy Spirit whom He has given to you. “Fixing your eyes on Master Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and then, after rising from the dead and ascending to Heaven above, sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2.
