So the division of labour makes sense.
But isonu feminists will project their life's issues & call it hot-takes
I've always maintained that if people truly want to practice feminism, they should go & liberate girls from underage marriages, not ranting on Twitter over non-issues
It's how cooking typically takes the center-stage of feminism conversations, but not empowerment or governance
The woman in the tweet is a stay-at-home mum who definitely has more time than the husband to cook. Plus the husband is going out to earn money for the family.. 1/
One of my biggest win in 2023.
I met a white lady at the pub in July, she’s a single mum but just 33.
You know how people blame their situation on the fact that they had kids and all. It was same with her.
She’s been in & out of court and the police station with the father of her two kids
I checked through the list of delegates and I am shocked at our frivolousness.I see designations like confidant of the president and I ask how is that a reason to be a delegate at a serious climate summit? There are many climate change advocates and activists that ought to be on that list but were denied because they didn’t have the right connections. It’s a very sad tale for our dear country and it’s inexplicably perturbing how unbothered our leaders are.
Speak out! There is a clear and present danger. People who say One Nigeria is a myth, are growing, because amongst other things, they see things like the govt of the most cosmopolitan state in the nation, Lagos State, saying so with much more disdain but with ACTIONS.
If you give Nigeria the revenue of Saudi Arabia, they will spend as if they were Saudi Arabia with the revenue of Nigeria
The problem is not revenues, the problem is wasteful spending of the revenues collected.
The man that Tayo Ayinde, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s chief of staff, claims to have paid N7.5 million for liquid fragrance and N2.3 million for “production of telephone directory pamphlet of DPOs" is actually a mechanic😂, legwork by @fijnigeria has revealed👇
Buhari looted Nigeria so bad that there’s absolutely no money for frivolities like education and health. Only basic essentials like yachts and SUVs are affordable - Nuhu Ribadu
I used to live in Accra across the street from a well know water NGO - they dug a lot less wells a year despite heavy funding. They did have a very nice office, all their expatriate officials lived in posh areas, drove brand new SUVs. Thank you Mr. Beast for exposing them all.
Practical advice:
With the rising cost of services, this is the next best time to get health insurance.
Many people are becoming poor by sorting health bills out of pocket
Reminder: seven political parties -- PDP, APC, LP, SDP, YPP, NNPP and APGA -- are represented in the 10th national assembly.
No senator from any of the big poli-thiefcal parties or the so-called alternatives has turned down this profligate spending of N160m per lawmaker on operational vehicles.
Birds of a feather, all of them!
The National Assembly buying foreign built vehicles at this time is dispiriting, especially when you consider that we are all trying to promote buy Nigeria to grow the Naira.
A sad part of this is that we (assemblers and manufacturers of vehicles in Nigeria) actually proposed our vehicles and explained how it would make a lot of financial, technical and political sense to buy from us but they didn’t even entertain the idea for long.
How can you represent Nigeria but refuse Nigeria especially when some of us have shown you that we would offer similar top quality at a better price?
Why do you want be seen driving a foreign brand when a Nigerian brand can offer you the same quality at a better price?
Shocking and makes little sense, let’s not even talk about patriotism.
VIO is out there 'arresting' vehicles with faded number plates. 25k fine, plus, if you're unlucky, vehicle impoundment.
I have no problem with tackling faded plates, but why are we producing plate numbers that fade in the first place?
And why is VIO so quick to impound vehicles?
A Nigerian had a flat tyre on Iseyin-Ibadan highway. According to him, he flagged many motorists for help because his jack got spoiled in the process of trying to change the tyre but none of them stopped, understandably.
He has already resigned to fate until these good officers from Dugbe Police station came along. They didn't only stopped, they went out of their way to replaced & fixed the spare tyre.
When they were done, he begged them to take ₦3,000 as a token of appreciation but they rejected his plea. Their response was; "we didn't stopped to assist you because of that, we are only doing our jobs".
The three Officers are: Officer Tunmise, Officer Daudu and Officer Michael of Dugbe police station, Ibadan).
May God continue bless them.
God bless Nigeria Police.

I visited the DSS Office with my client and we were at the Waiting Room when two different ladies at intervals wanted to take my client to go and make statement with out my presence. I protested that I need to be present by the Provisions of the ACJA.
