Made $13,000 profit — FundingPips changed my conditions afterwards
I bought 2 Step Flex accounts because they were advertised with “No Consistency Rules”, while FundingPips was also promoting that they had “Removed subjective rules.”
I traded under those conditions and made around $13,000 in profit on my Master Accounts.
I did not breach Daily Loss or Maximum Loss, and FundingPips has not identified any specific prohibited trading strategy that I used.
After I had already generated this profit, FundingPips reviewed my trading and decided that my trading behavior supposedly “does not reflect a strategy that would hold up in live markets.”
Following that review, they moved my accounts from Bi-Weekly to Monthly.
And this is where the actual problem begins.
Monthly has a 35% Consistency Rule. Bi-Weekly did not.
FundingPips then applied the Monthly consistency calculation to trades and profit I had already generated BEFORE they moved me to Monthly.
Their own support confirmed this to me in writing:
“you have not yet requested a reward. Therefore, all trades placed since the start of your Master Account will be considered when calculating your consistency score.”
So basically:
I generated the profit with No Consistency Rules → they moved me to a cycle with a 35% Consistency Rule afterwards → then used my old trades to calculate that new consistency requirement.
And I want to make one thing very clear:
I have never demanded that FundingPips operate under my own rules or make a special exception for me.
I am completely willing to continue under the Monthly Reward Cycle and its 35% Consistency Rule going forward.
My only disagreement is with applying that rule retroactively to trading performance generated when my accounts were still operating under Bi-Weekly conditions with No Consistency Rules.
In other words, I am not asking FundingPips to remove the Monthly rules from my accounts. I am asking them to apply those rules from the moment they became applicable to my accounts — not to trades completed before that.
I asked support multiple times to show me the exact part of the agreement that allows them to apply the Monthly Consistency Rule to trading activity completed before I was moved to Monthly.
They still haven't shown me such a provision.
Instead, they keep referring to their Responsible Trading Policy, which they say allows them to restrict accounts, change conditions or deny rewards. But that still doesn't answer the actual question: why can a consistency rule that did not apply when I generated the profit later be applied to those same trades?
And remember: this product was sold as “No Consistency Rules”, while FundingPips themselves advertised “Removed subjective rules.”
Yet my trading was reviewed based on statements such as my strategy supposedly not being something that would “hold up in live markets,” and after that review my conditions were changed.
FundingPips support has now told me that their decision is final.
That's my experience with FundingPips:
I made around $13,000 under one set of conditions.
My conditions were changed afterwards.
I accepted the new conditions going forward.
But those new conditions were also applied to my previous trading performance — and I have not received the $13,000 reward.
I have screenshots of the account conditions, trading results, dates of the change, and FundingPips' written responses.
