@qDot I had forgotten about that one. I’ve used that semi regularly. There are a lot of ways to abuse and or and early statement returns. This was recommended in a lúa tutorial I was reading though which seemed unusual but hey I’ve never done anything with lúa so 🤷🏻♂️
Now I'm not saying you SHOULD do this but if you want a ternary in python you could do something like this
c = conditionValue and trueValueOption or falseValueOption
discovered while leaning about lua strangely, really this works in many languages
@iquilezles@CasualEffects I absolutely agree that if you have the rigor to build production quality node graphs you could write textual code but I think that overlooks the speed that you can compose elements and tweak settings in a node graph.
@xewlupus@AsherVo Ironically I had someone in the ads dep say not having first party games should be attractive to devs as they aren’t “competition”. I told him I don’t think that’s true. Except for the largest devs. I’m bummed to see this direction but saw it as soon as ipo was announced.
