Great work --- we all need to support our farmers. Over the last number of years I have been unable to find anything 100% cotton so I am thrilled you are making cotton great again!
The MAHA movement doesn't stop with what we EAT — It's also about what we WEAR.
For decades, America offshored textile jobs and allowed foreign synthetic, plastic-based materials to take over the clothing market.
Together with @SecKennedy, the Great American Cotton Plan puts American-grown cotton FIRST again: supporting our farmers, strengthening U.S. manufacturing, and giving families a natural choice.
@elonmusk If X is the “mind of humanity,” I’m genuinely worried about humanity.
There are many benefits to the platform, and I’m grateful you purchased it and protected free speech. That said, there’s also a lot of real garbage on here.
That was a masterclass, Mr. Zeldin — and you weren’t even trying to make her look bad. Rep. DeLauro accomplished that all on her own. A truly humiliating performance after thirty-five years in the U.S. House of Representatives. Moments like this show exactly why term limits matter.
@RepThomasMassie I’m increasingly concerned about retail loyalty programs. Across the U.S., friendly cashiers are routinely encouraged — often through monthly quotas — to sign customers up for store “rewards” cards. While presented as a way to save a few dollars as a “loyal shopper,” the real purpose is far less innocent.
These programs are a major pipeline of highly detailed personal data. Every purchase, combined with your name, address, phone number, and email, feeds extensive customer profiles sold to data brokers.
I respectfully suggest adding a transparency requirement to the Surveillance Accountability Act: retailers must clearly disclose — before asking for enrollment — exactly how customers’ personal information and purchase histories will be collected, shared, and monetized for the company’s profit.
A recent incident drove this home for me. While standing in line at a bookstore, I watched a young mother with two toddlers at her feet and a newborn in her arms willingly give the cashier her children’s full names and birthdates to sign them up for the store’s kids club. I was stunned. These children are just beginning their lives, and already their dossiers — and future sociograms — are being built and commodified.
Have we really reached the point where the most intimate details of our lives carry a “for sale” sticker? This level of data harvesting for profit should offend every one of us.

The teenager bagging groceries today asked if I wanted my bread on top.
I said yes.
He nodded seriously and said, "Good call. Structural integrity is everything."
Then he arranged my bags like he was building a cathedral.
His coworker laughed at him.
But my bread arrived home unpunched, my tomatoes unbrushed.
Sometimes the people who care too much about small things are exactly who we need.

This enduring principle underscores the vitality of societal cohesion. When individuals forsake their sense of personal worth, the erosion of trust and ethical collaboration undermines the very bonds that sustain collective existence.” P
