Virtual format of #acl2020nlp enabled us to open its doors to a broader range of researchers. 83 researchers from 29 countries received one/more forms of subsidy; 1/3 of them are from Sub-Saharan Africa & Latin America, both underrepresented regions in prior NLP conferences (3/5)
