@mabon_gwyn@X Hello 🤟 Indie vibe coder here, currently shipping an iOS app and AI workflows. I also run a Shopify dev and marketing studio at ~350k a year. Love connecting with other builders, would gladly take a look at what you're building too.
@siddharthwv Love this. I'm all in on the calm minimalism, though with 4 young kids at home quiet is a rare luxury, so I really value every still moment I get :) And you're right, boring is underrated.
@ahmedgagan11 Love the energy. Genuine question though, do you ever worry about the opposite risk? That somewhere in those 100 there's an app that was 20% more effort away from taking off, but got buried in the volume before it had a chance.
@euboid Congrats, awesome story 🙌 Really curious how you built your X audience, if you could give just one golden tip for growing here, what would it be? And do you think having an audience on X is actually that important for builders when it comes to distribution?
New EU law: every e-shop now needs an online withdrawal button on the site, not just a PDF.
Most will install an app. I built mine from the terminal with Claude Code + Shopify’s MCP. It read my own Terms, wrote a native theme section, and shipped it via GraphQL.
No app. It looks like part of the site, because it is.
Built this into my new product Maro - AI to-do assistant - this morning between client work:
✅ encrypted chat memory that remembers where you left off
✅ welcome-back recap when you reopen the app
✅ Done view for closed tasks and scheduled items
✅ 7 UI languages
✅ one-tap task adding
✅ edit any task or reminder by chatting
✅ 12 UX fixes from tester feedback
If you want to try it, Maro is free here: https://t.co/lr69sfjdF3
The last few days I mostly replied instead of posting. My impressions basically flatlined.
Checked my analytics, and the one day I actually posted, it hit 2K impressions. The reply-heavy days were close to zero.
Is it really just “post more, reply less”? Or am I reading this wrong?
@yongfook big congrats on V5 :) adaptive templates resizing to any resolution is exactly the thing clients keep asking me for. did AI mostly speed up the build or change what you actually shipped?
