no mortgage.

nothing owed.

got the new property tax bill today.

if i don’t pay it, armed men show up and take the house i “own.”

i already pay 35%+ in income tax, sales tax, gas tax, capital gains…

but apparently that wasn’t enough.

so do i actually own anything?

or am i just renting from the government with extra steps?

@GETITPOPPINGTON @theereal_one Right! I work in a steel mill so my face looks like this most days, if I have anywhere to go and I can’t stop home and clean up I’m def washing up before I leave. I might miss a couple spots but I don’t look like that. We change before we leave at least too.

Even if you could save 1-2 years it wouldn’t be very much for someone starting their life out of hs or college ya know?

Housing market is fucked too I bought my house in 21 before it went up to 6%. I do invest but I don’t have time all day to trade or watch the market, because I work for a living.
