My people, we are missing the context of this whole issue. It is not about religion it is someone who had an opportunity to let the government know the plight of the people regardless of their tribe, religion, status etc. He is doing more than most people in his position. Are we saying what he and his colleagues told the government is not true? We should try to look at it from the point of the message not the messenger. The more people from all works of life contribute to this conversation, the chances that the government will hear and feel our pain. May we all see a better Nigeria in the near future. All the best.

You cannot be the problem and the solution at the same time. Your choice of words send a different msg from what you are trying to say. We are all Nigerians and brothers. When trying to paint a picture, don’t make it seem like you are the problem instead of someone trying to help find a solution.

Is this abuse necessary? You are a grown man. To what benefit is this for? Can you not do your politics with dignity. This language picks more about the author than who it is directed at. Brother be guided. What goes around comes around. Don’t let your younger ones end up abusing you like this. The man has done you no wrong. Support your principal with dignity. This kind of language will only embolden people against your principal. You are doing your principal a disservice by your choice of language. It reflects badly on him. I think you are missing the point. No one is against borrowing it is a necessity. Businesses borrow to grow. Businesses do not borrow to line their pockets or pay for over inflated overheads or upgrades because they would not survive otherwise. So in the case of our government the people are asking if we do not use this money effectively we will keep borrowing and eventually end up defaulting because the economy is not growing enough or producing enough to pay back our loans because of corruption. Basically that is what the below responses are saying in a nut shell.

Is there any need for this? Are we not human beings, brothers and fellow Nigerians. We are fighting each other over people that do not care of our existence. This is what they want, so we can see the wrongs that are being perpetrated by them. Let us be guided. Last Last we will still be here in this country together. Our paths may even cross. If we hate each other so much we should refuse services of people from other ethnic groups that provide key services such as doctors, teachers etc. if that is how we truly feel. Let us not cherry pick the profession when we choose to hate the ethnicity of the person.

I am seriously trying to figure out your point here. The reason being since Peter left office as governor there have been two governors who have systematically decimated his legacy. So when bringing up information like this lay the facts out. Don’t be selective. Also starting a conversation with the “IBO’s” already tags you as a bigot. Always remember we are all Nigerians. So attacking a tribe for any reason due to politics is already a negative approach because weather you like it or not you are wedded to the IBO’s as fellow Nigerians. Let us pretend we do not have any allegiances. Can you honestly say with your full chest and your life depended on it that any of those in power today in terms of integrity and accountability are better than Peter obi. This is a man that consistently says that if you have proof of any wrongdoings you should bring it and he will drop out of the race. Instead of finding the evidence , a few of our brothers and sisters are spewing rubbish on the net, rather than finding facts to support their assertions. This only means that there is nothing to support their allegations. They are only talking with the hope that some ignorant ones will buy into it regardless. Which does happen sadly. Why the insults? There is absolutely no need for it. Let us be civil. We all want the same thing. A better country we can live in harmony. This type of language is divisive. No one benefits from it apart from the ones creating the space for it. Please my brothers let us be guided. Regardless of what happens we are still brothers and humans.

What side did he take? He is only doing his job as a journalist, his job of keeping Nigerian updated with current affairs, seems to make your principal look bad. Hence your assertion. He has never endorsed or encouraged anyone to support any candidate. Not publicly. It is the woefulness of the current state of affairs that makes it seem that way. Nothing positive to say about the other side. He should be allowed to do his job. This kind of journalism is seriously lacking in our country and we need more of it not less.
