@telegram@durov U talk abt Freedom of this Freedom of that
Yet @ston_fi is the definition of dictatorship when it comes to memes on TON
Just cuz its not from their launchpad.. they just blacklist stuff even if it was launched 2y ago..
The moment shitcoins stopped being fun — and why they might be fun again 🧵
Back in 2021–2022, shitcoins were actually fun.
You had to launch something memeable with a real story behind it. 🎭
You needed a Telegram team (or Discord for the creepy ones 👀), and Twitter was just an addition — not the entire game.
Things were harder, but that’s what made it work.
You needed at least some Solidity knowledge.
You had to understand Remix.
You needed liquidity.
You needed a team.
You needed people who actually believed in what you were building.
And because of that, communities formed around narratives — not just charts.
People followed proven teams.
Projects had identity.
There was lore. There was culture. There was competition. 🔥
Then came the 2024 climax.
Volume exploded. 📈
Memes went mainstream.
The meme bull run printed harder than ever.
But that’s usually when things change.
“Good times create weak men. Hard times create strong men.”
Because once things became too easy… quality disappeared.
Suddenly you didn’t need to know how to deploy.
You didn’t need capital for LP.
You didn’t need a team.
You didn’t even need a community.
Platforms like https://t.co/ZTuKoj1gB0 made launching frictionless.
And frictionless also meant effortless.
People stopped trading stories.
They started trading tickers. 🪙
Trending word = instant buy.
No meme quality.
No narrative.
No culture.
No reason.
Just low-IQ attention farming and 15-minute hype cycles.
The fun died the moment we traded stories for tickers.
Since then, quality has been diluted more and more.
Now we have more launchpads appearing every month than tokens actually reaching a $10M market cap. 📉
But over the past 1–2 weeks, I’ve noticed something changing.
Slowly… narratives are coming back.
People are paying attention to branding again.
Communities are forming again.
Memes actually matter again.
Builders are trying again. 🛠️
And maybe that’s the reset the space needed.
Because the best runs were never just about money.
They were about finding something early, believing in it, and watching a community build around it. 🤝
So when good times come again, remember this:
Don’t reward terminal influencers who intentionally let wallets get tracked while nuking from secondary wallets. 🎯
Don’t reward fake conviction.
Don’t reward MetaWin shillers.
Don’t reward people farming attention while dumping on followers.
Correct it this time. 🧠
Bring back stories.
Bring back culture.
Bring back fun.
