SO FAR all 36 Jomon males from 19 sites across the Japanese archipelago (Hokkaido to Okinawa) are D-M55. The absolute paternal homogeneity remains unbroken.

@nrken19 It is super interesting to see ANE ancestry in the Eastern Zhou samples. All the males tested as Q1a1 and seem to be derived from ANE sources like Afontova Gora.

知らなかったが、日本人男性に特有のY染色体ハプログループD（縄文由来で南西諸島に高頻度）が2型糖尿病リスクを下げ、加齢や喫煙によるY染色体欠失は逆にリスクを上げるとの研究。性決定のみならずY染色体の多面的な影響が可視化され始めたのは大変興味深いです。

昨年報告があった韓国の林堂洞・造永洞古墳群出土の78個体のゲノムデータが一般公開され、論文未記載のY-SNPまで追えるようになりました。父系は母系に比べ多様性が低く、弥生系でお馴染みのO1b2a1a1が最多。

日本人の起源をより高い解像度で捉えるためにも、半島側のデータ蓄積には今後も期待したい
