@JagexSupport why can’t we appeal a ban more than once? I’ve been playing the game for 16-17 years and make the mistake of using a third party client now I’m perm banned. Yes I had a prior botting offense two years ago.. but how is a third party client for never log the same?

@JagexHelpSamo @JagexHelpFrost @JagexSupport Is one example. Yes I botted once in the past, but after that botting ban, I learned my lesson and NEVER touched a bot again. Third party clients were the norm in all high level pvm and definitely don’t seem as bad as botting

@JagexHelpSamo @JagexHelpFrost @JagexSupport Also, with higher penalties (scaling based on number of bans), maybe it could work? A lot of players make stupid mistakes and learn their lesson. Honestly, it’s weird to see a ban expire but then also influence your future bans. Third party client bans being bucketed with botters

@JagexHelpSamo @JagexHelpFrost @JagexSupport Oh interesting. I just feel really stupid for getting banned over client usage.. is there any way I can re-appeal the ban? Never log was literally the only feature I used because of pure convenience. Isn’t 6 months a long enough punishment? 😅

@JagexHelpFrost @JagexHelpSamo @JagexSupport Using never log is way less worse than using cox helpers, tob helpers, etc. Can’t I get the same two week ban everyone else received? I’ve deleted all of the unauthorized clients I had installed. Literally everyone doing endgame pvm was using them

@JagexHelpSamo @JagexSupport @JagexHelpFrost I didn’t even cheat, I literally logged in and AFK’d at the GE with never log on doing nothing. You can check logs to validate that. Unless player monitoring is so lacking that you don’t keep such logs?

@JagexHelpSamo @JagexSupport @JagexHelpFrost Also, the news post stated that first time third party client offenders would get a two week ban. And then after that perm bans would be dealt. Why did I receive a perm ban from the start?

@JagexHelpSamo @JagexSupport @JagexHelpFrost Tried botting by using the never log plugin? What do you mean lol? If you check the logs of my account, I was standing afk at the GE and did a little bit of KBD prior to getting banned. There was no botting

@JagexSupport @JagexHelpFrost @JagexHelpSamo There are always exceptions made though. Everyone I know received a two week ban for using a client. I’m not sure why in my case it was a permanent ban though. Could someone please take a look again? The only plug-in I used was Never Log.

@JagexSupport @JagexHelpFrost @JagexHelpSamo I did submit an appeal but it was denied unfortunately. I had appealed the wrong reason though I didn’t see a new reason was added for “third party clients”. I would love another chance and I promise I’ll never touch an unauthorized third party client again
