في العالم المتقدم، ينظر إلى المهندس بوصفه شريكاً في صناعة المستقبل، وقوة تقود الاقتصاد والتكنولوجيا والاستدامة.

In the developed world, engineers are seen as partners in shaping the future — a driving force behind economic growth, technological advancement, and sustainability.

In Iraq, however, engineers are still fighting to prove that knowledge matters more than chaos, that planning matters more than improvisation, and that a state is not measured by the number of buildings it erects, but by its ability to protect its people, shape the future, and respect reason.

هذا ما ناقشه رئيس حراك البيت العراقي، محي الأنصاري، مع سفير جمهورية أرمينيا لدى العراق روبن سوغويان، خلال استقباله في مقر الحراك بالعاصمة بغداد.

Democracy is not merely a ballot box opened every election season; it is an integrated system built on constitutional institutions that draw lessons from successful international experiences, alongside laws that protect the will of citizens and encourage meaningful participation in political life.

This was the focus of discussions between Muhi Al-Ansari, President of the Iraqi Home Movement, and the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Iraq, Ruben Sogoyan, during the ambassador’s visit to the movement’s headquarters in Baghdad.

South Korea has undergone a pioneering experience in reforming its economy and banking system — an experience Iraq needs in order to build a state founded on transparency and economic justice, as genuine democracy cannot exist without a free economy and sound financial institutions.

These were among the issues discussed by Al-Ansari with the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, Mr. Lee Joon-il, and the accompanying delegation during their visit to the headquarters of the Iraqi Home Movement in Baghdad.

Iraq and the Czech Republic share a history shaped by the pursuit of a democratic system that guarantees rights and freedoms. However, the Iraqi experience faced repression, while democracy was transformed into a cover for distortion in political life and the restriction of public freedoms.

This was discussed by Al-Ansari with the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Iraq, Mr. Jan Šnaidauf, during his visit to the headquarters of the Iraqi Home Movement in Baghdad.

استقبل مكتب العلاقات في حراك البيت العراقي القائمَ بالأعمال الفنلندي لدى العراق، السيد آكي كاوبينن، في مقر الحراك ببغداد، وناقش الجانبان الالتزام الجاد في ترميم الأضرار التي تسببت بها الحرب الأخيرة في المنطقة وأثارها على الحياة السياسية والاقتصادية في العراق.

The Relations Office at the Iraqi Home Movement received the Chargé d’Affaires of Finland to Iraq, Mr. Aki Kauppinen, at the Movement’s headquarters in Baghdad, where both sides discussed a serious commitment to repairing the damage caused by the recent war in the region and its effects on political and economic life in Iraq.

كركوك لم تكن يوماً مدينة مكوّن واحد، شارك أهلها، بمختلف قومياتهم وطوائفهم وانتماءاتهم، في بناء تاريخ مشترك راسخ في كل لهجة، وكل عادة، وكل موروث. هذا التنوع ثروة تستحق أن يُبنى عليها،

وفي سياق تعزيز هذا المسار، استقبل رئيس حراك البيت العراقي السيد محي الأنصاري، وفريق مكتب العلاقات، محافظ كركوك السيد محمد سمعان آغا في مقر الحراك ببغداد.

Kirkuk has never been a city of a single component. Its people—across their different ethnicities, sects, and affiliations—have all contributed to building a shared history rooted in every dialect, every tradition, and every cultural heritage. This diversity is a wealth worth building upon.

In this context, and in support of strengthening this path, the President of the Iraqi Home Movement, Mr. Muhi Al-Ansari, along with the Relations Office team, received the Governor of Kirkuk, Mr. Mohammed Samman Agha, at the Movement’s headquarters in Baghdad.

الصحافة المقيّدة دليل إدانة للسلطة قبل أن تكون خطراً عليها، فالنظام الذي يخشى السؤال والكلمة يعترف ضمناً بهشاشته وضعفه. وحين تتحول القوانين من درع حقوق إلى سلاح ترهيب، فقد سقط آخر الحواجز بين المواطن والدولة.

Restricted journalism is evidence against authority before it is a threat to it. A system that fears questions and words implicitly admits its own fragility and weakness. And when laws transform from a shield of rights into a tool of intimidation, the last barriers between the citizen and the state have fallen.

تمرّ ذكرى احتلال بغداد 2003، والعراق لا يزال أسير تداعياتها، دون أن ينجح النظام الذي نشأ بعدها في بناء ديمقراطية حقيقية تُعبّر عن تطلعات العراقيين أو تصون سيادة البلاد.

بعد أكثر من عقدين، لم تعد الأزمة في تعثّر تشكيل الحكومات فحسب، بل في عجزٍ بنيوي أصاب جوهر النظام، حيث تآكلت فكرة الدولة لصالح ولاءات عابرة للحدود، وتراجعت الهوية الوطنية أمام صراعات لا ترى في العراق سوى ساحة نفوذ.

لم يتوقف الفشل عند الأداء السياسي، بل طال بنية الدولة نفسها؛ إذ جرى تفريغ المؤسسات من دورها، وتحويلها إلى هياكل شكلية عاجزة عن فرض القانون أو حماية النظام العام.

يحذّر حراك البيت العراقي من انزلاقٍ جديد نحو تفكك الدولة، في ظل تصاعد خطاب يتقدّم فيه الولاء الخارج على حساب المصالح الوطنية للعراقيين.

العراق لن يستعيد عافيته إلا عبر دولة ذات سيادة، ومؤسسات دستورية فاعلة، ومجال عام مفتوح، واحتكارٍ صارم للسلاح بيد الدولة وحدها.

يتابع حراك البيت العراقي بقلق واستنكار بالغين التصعيد الخطير الذي استهدف مقر جهاز المخابرات الوطني العراقي، إلى جانب قصف مقر لجهاز مكافحة الإرهاب في بغداد، في اعتداءات ممنهجة تمثل تمرداً صريحاً على الدولة ومؤسساتها الدستورية.

لم تعد هذه الأفعال خروقات أمنية عابرة، بل تحولت إلى مواجهة مفتوحة مع سلطة الدولة، ومحاولة لفرض واقع موازٍ بقوة السلاح، في تحدٍ مباشر لهيبة المؤسسات ولإرادة العراقيين. ما يجري هو انتقال خطير من العمل خارج الدولة إلى العمل ضدها علناً.

إن استهداف الأجهزة المعنية بحماية الأمن القومي للعراق يكشف مشروعاً يجر البلاد إلى صراع داخلي، ويعيد إنتاج الفوضى كذريعة لبقاء السلاح خارج القانون. وهو مسار يمثل تقويضاً متعمداً لفكرة الدولة وسيادتها.

إن المسؤولية الوطنية تفرض إجراءات حازمة وفورية تعيد فرض سلطة الدولة، وتضع حداً لكل من يحاول كسرها أو تجاوزها. فالصمت أو التردد في هذه اللحظة ليس حياداً، بل تفكيك تدريجي للدولة.
يجدد حراك البيت العراقي موقفه الواضح: لا شرعية لأي سلاح خارج إطار الدولة، ولا حق لأي جهة بمشاركة قرار الحرب والسلم أو مصادرته. الدولة وحدها هي صاحبة هذا القرار، وأي مساس بذلك هو اعتداء على العراق والعراقيين.

The Iraqi Home Movement follows with grave concern and strong condemnation the dangerous escalation targeting the headquarters of the Iraqi National Intelligence Service, alongside the shelling of a Counter-Terrorism Service facility in Baghdad. These coordinated attacks constitute a blatant act of rebellion against the state and its constitutional institutions.

These actions are no longer mere security breaches; they have evolved into an open confrontation with state authority and an attempt to impose a parallel reality by force of arms, in direct defiance of institutional legitimacy and the will of the Iraqi people. What is unfolding marks a dangerous shift from operating outside the state to acting openly against it.

Targeting institutions entrusted with safeguarding Iraq’s national security reveals a project aimed at dragging the country into internal conflict and reproducing chaos as a pretext for maintaining weapons outside the law. This trajectory represents a deliberate undermining of the very concept of the state and its sovereignty.
National responsibility requires decisive and immediate measures to reassert the authority of the state and to put an end to any actor seeking to undermine or bypass it. Silence or hesitation at this moment is not neutrality; it is a gradual dismantling of the state.

The Iraqi Home Movement reaffirms its clear position: there is no legitimacy for any arms outside the framework of the state, and no entity has the right to share in or usurp the decision of war and peace. The state alone holds this authority, and any violation of it is an assault on Iraq and its people.

With the conclusion of the sixth season of Iraqi Home Salon, under the theme “Iraq and the Next World,” we close one chapter of dialogue to open another.

Throughout this season, the sessions were not merely discussions, but a space to unpack the major questions facing Iraq in a world being reshaped politically, economically, and technologically—a world that sets its own pace and rewards those with vision and the ability to adapt.

This season addressed Iraq’s position in a changing world and explored ways to engage with its transformations in a manner that enhances the state’s capacity to adapt and make decisions.
