Spain's air pollution is sending 60,000 to the hospital each year, and experts like @ensgismau and @jesusdelaosa are urging us to clear the air before it's too late with preventive plans against pollution and climate change.
Imagine the savings in healthcare cost!

@citlanx Yes, you are well protected and colon cancer isn’t something to mess around with. The endoscopy room will have 6 or more ACH of highly filtered air. Take reasonable precautions in the waiting room. Deferred preventive health care is the greater risk.
They tested 26 different air cleaners and found that the #corsirosenthalbox performed the best! More confirmation of what we have found. The CR Box with MERV 13 filters beats the expensive HEPA air cleaners hands down. It is not just the filter. It is the filter X the flow!
My 3 key takeaways from SCIENCE article written with 40+ colleagues:
1. The pandemic has underscored the critical role of IAQ in public health, revealing a need for regulated performance standards for public spaces
2. Proactive IAQ monitoring is vital to managing healthier indoor environments
3. Enhanced ventilation targets, well above the "acceptable" minimum, are essential to protect public health

1/ Canadian's beware. An article in Canada's National Post yesterday contains misleading information RE promotion of round-the-clock hydroxyl radical (OH) generation in homes. I have purposely not included a link here.
@kprather88 Engineers shouldn’t design drinking water & waste water treatment plants either. What do they have to contribute to infection control and public health. 🙄 (100% sarcastic comment, if you were wondering…) Science, engineering, medicine, and policy is a team sport (not sarcastic)
@citlanx@WargockiPawel Thanks for the kind words. Great and super smart IHs working working at the Church of Jesus Christ. Their mission to protect health is in the right place.
Silicosis, an incurable lung disease, is claiming the lives of California workers cutting countertops. Young workers, predominantly Latino immigrants, are affected, with some losing their lives in their 30s.

@Delta Breaking up is hard to do, but @Delta SkyMiles is interested in a different kind of traveler. In hindsight, it was a dysfunctional relationship with SkyMiles - spending more to fly loyal, picking vacations based on @Delta destinations, picking flights without optimal connections
Like many, I was mad about @Delta changes to the SkyMiles program. Now, I’m just disappointed in @Delta. I’m now liberated to choose the best flight & credit card - SkyMiles aside. @Delta was a master at building loyalty. @Delta has turned their back on a previously loyal base.
@Delta With rare exception, I haven’t flown outside of @Delta for years as I was a loyalist. I hear great things about @JetBlue and @AlaskaAir; looking forward to giving them a try. For next year’s trip to Japan, @JALairlines is supposed to have the world’s best economy class.
