hi, i'm Ihsan. senior react native engineer, 6+ years shipping.
you made a crypto transaction and had no idea what actually happened.
was it a swap? a fee deduction? a failed tx eating gas?
building @aftertxapp to explain it in plain English.
posting build-in-public updates, market takes, and aftertx milestones as they happen.
the quantum shift for crypto wallets is splitting into two approaches.
monad just proposed decoupling your address from the keys that control it. swap in quantum-safe keys, passkeys, or recovery tools without moving a cent.
ethereum and bitcoin are taking the slower protocol-level path.
smooth account-level upgrade vs full protocol reset. whichever wins shapes the next decade of wallets.
@YAHYAALJAF1998@exodus hey, that's a genuinely awful thing to happen and losing rent money on top makes it so much worse. please don't sit with that alone tonight, talk to someone you trust
@coryvanlew fake interview links are a known malware campaign. assume the device is compromised, not just the wallet. new machine, new seed, don't sign anything from the old one
got two scam dms on linkedin this week. both pitched me an "exciting project"
that was it. no stack, no problem, no company. just "project"
real opportunities lead with specifics: what you're building, what's broken, what you need. vagueness isn't discretion, it's the tell that there's nothing behind the message.
my filter: the more excited a stranger is with the fewer details they give, the faster i close the tab.
@RealJackPoor the approval part gets almost everyone once. the popup looks the same whether it's a legit mint or a drainer, which is basically why i started building aftertx
