I know how to say “no” without feeling some type of way or doubting my reaction. If it doesn’t feel right or I don’t feel the need to indulge or entertain the conversation, it’s a straight “no”.
I have suffered bruh. I am currently having ulcer pain and intense menstrual cramps. The former is because I have been puking in my guts out due to the cramps. I can’t also take NSAIDS because it will worsen the ulcer pain.
Every time I ask if there’s light at home, the answer is NO. WTF is @IkejaElectric doing? For the past 1 week ffs. You people better fix that shit before I go back home.
One of the things I appreciate most about getting older is becoming increasingly honest with myself about what I can accept, what I can work through, and what I will no longer tolerate.
As a non confrontational person who also enjoys talking about issues, my only way to handle continuous conflict is removing myself. And I remove myself fully and completely. Sadly as a kid, you can’t really remove yourself so I struggled.
Went to church today, 2 things stood out for me, but decided not to read too much meaning into it.
1. Pastor Bolaji Idowu's Face
His face was so dark, swollen, eyes red, he looked lean, and I assumed "he's doing his regular 40 days praying & fasting, or spending time fellowshipping with God"
2. His message, around prophecy and judging God Faithful 🕊, it felt different.
Now we know,
She was my Pastor, I enjoyed her way of explaining scriptures.
The memory of the righteous is blessed. 🕊
Pastor Bolaji John.
