@JamesKowalski88 Lol the gospels can't even agree what decade Jesus was born in or whether his family traveled to Egypt or Jerusalem after his birth... You firmly believe in the Exodus and other biblical stories despite zero historical evidence. Hypocrite much?
@enesovat22@Metashark7 I guess you missed the whole part where he climbed that mountain, came down with "commandments" etched on tablets... You sure you read the Bible and not the Bhagavad Gita? They both start with B so I understand the confusion...
@_Maverick143_ He's a published biblical scholar with a PHD from a seminary school. In what world does that qualify him to be an authority on the Quran?
@Logos_Reason@_Maverick143_ Well he spent his life studying biblical scholarship, not the Quran so yes it makes logical sense to use him as an authoritative source for one and not the other.
@InspiringPhilos Unlike the Gospels, we actually know who transmitted and wrote hadiths. They Gospels also started as an oral tradition but with no clear chain and are completely anonymous. We have no idea who wrote them and ample evidence of large scale copying and forgery.
@MinisterMartyr@TheObserve87441 Lol you have no such thing. The gospels are anonymous. No one knows who wrote them. The only thing known for certain is they written down some decades after Jesus (pbuh) died.
@KatjaDox@Bob_cart124 Respectfully, you're the one that needs to learn about the history of Christianity and iconoclasm. Depicting God and the prophets was considered idolatrous by Christians for centuries, especially the in East where the Orthodox banned it until the mid 800s.
@ElParotetFaller@Kneel_Muhammad Since you're too stupid to understand, let me spell is out. People like you are not only ignorant but hypocrites too. You take issue with someone marrying a post puberty woman but no problem with God allegedly impregnating a 12 year old against her will.
@Ihunanya_chi@toou643082 Priests are modeled after Jesus whom according to the new testament is the "high priest". You really put your foot in your mouth with that one lol
@Eelectric_Diva@Dolphin4735@RobSchneider And no, most pagan religions didn't practice human sacrifice. Those that did were the exception, and there's no indication that ancient Assyrians or other Middle Eastern pagans routinely practiced it.
@Eelectric_Diva@Dolphin4735@RobSchneider Didn't ignore anything. I was simply addressing the erroneous point you raised, e.g. that all pagans "chose" to become Christian. Now you're changing the topic because your original point isn't supported by the historical record.
@ApostateProphet@orthonektarios So if an unarmed nun voices support for Hamas she forfeits her life? That's an argument even hardcore Jewish Zionists would abhore.
@enesovat22 Many Turks are secular and religion plays little if any role in their lives. You admitting that all of your family and friends abandoned you is essentially an admission that they simply don't like you as a person. Can't say I blame them...
@enesovat22 That seems to be more a reflection of your miserable personality than your abandonment of faith. No believing Muslim ever gives up on their family or friends. They keep lines of communication open and try to help them come back. See
