Today I, being the Chief Executive of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, along with my cabinet and parliamentarians, going to Adiala Jail situated in the province of Punjab to show solidarity with former Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr. Imran Khan.

The federal government has stopped us in Islamabad 26 number chowk. It’s not only an insult of the chief executive but of the 46 Million people of KP.

The federal government has also stopped the Gas of KP. Punjab government has stopped the wheat movement towards KP. All of these acts are against the spirit of federation and the constitution of Pakistan.

Mr. Imran Khan has lost 85% of his eyesight due to the negligence of Adiala Jail’s administration and their handlers. He is not being allowed to meet his legal counsel, family and even personal physician. The federal government is not obeying the court orders and Punjab government is violating the fundamental rights of a political prisoner. Mr. Imran Khan is being treated inhumanely and has been placed in complete solitary confinement since November 2025.

We strongly demand the immediate access of Imran Khan sahb’s family and personal physician to him without any further delay. The state of his health is a matter of serious national concern and any harm caused to him due to negligence or deliberate denial of medical care is the direct responsibility of the federal government, the Punjab police, the administration of Adiala Jail and their handlers. We warn that the nation is watching and history will not forgive those who remain silent or complicit. Justice must prevail and it will prevail!

My sons Sulaiman & @kasim_khan_1999 applied for visas in January (again… ) to allow them to visit their father @ImranKhanPTI in Pakistan. The Pakistan consulate states that online visa processing normally takes 7–10 working days. It has now been 60 days. This despite the public promise that they could safely travel there to see their father after 4 years, made by both Defence Minister @khawajaMAsif to @mehdirhasan & PM spokesperson @mosharrafzaidi to @SkyYaldaHakim
Meanwhile, they are not allowed to speak to him on the phone, nor send him a letter. They haven’t seen him since 2022 after he was shot in an assassination attempt.
This is an appeal directly to Pakisan’s PM @CMShehbaz to please allow Imran Khan’s two sons to see their father asap, particularly since, by all accounts, his health is in decline.

We have been informed that my father, Imran Khan, has lost most of the vision in his right eye, with reports indicating only 15% eyesight remains. This is the direct consequence of 922 days of solitary confinement, medical neglect (denied blood tests) and the deliberate denial of proper treatment in jail.

The responsibility lies squarely with the regime in power, the Army Chief and the puppets enabling this cruelty. This physical deterioration is happening under their orders, their watch and their responsibility. They have manipulated and warped the justice system in order to keep my father in solitary confinement.

My brother and I are still being denied visas to see our father as his health deteriorates. History will record this injustice.

We urge human rights bodies, legal institutions and democratic nations to confront this persecution and ensure those responsible face consequences.

آج کی پریس کانفرنسیں مگرمچھ کے آنسو لگتی ہیں۔ اگر سنجیدگی ہوتی تو حکمت عملی واضح ہوتی، احتجاج کا مربوط پلان ہوتا، سیاسی دباؤ کا تسلسل ہوتا۔ مگر یہاں تو یا تو خاموشی ہے یا مبہم اعلانات۔ یوں محسوس ہوتا ہے جیسے وقت گزارا جا رہا ہو، جیسے کسی کو جلدی نہیں، جیسے جیل کی سلاخوں کے پیچھے بیٹھا شخص صرف ایک نعرہ بن کر رہ گیا ہو۔
کیا ہم نے یہ تحریک وراثت کی سیاست کے لیے شروع کی تھی؟ کیا مقصد یہ تھا کہ سوشل میڈیا پر بیانیہ تراش کر سیاسی جانشینی کی راہ ہموار کی جائے جبکہ بانی کو تنہا چھوڑ دیا جائے؟ اگر ایسا ہے تو یہ صرف سیاسی ناکامی نہیں، اخلاقی دیوالیہ پن ہے۔
خان کے سچے کارکنوں کو اب جاگنا ہوگا۔ اندھی عقیدت اور اندھی نفرت دونوں نقصان دہ ہیں۔ سوال پوچھنا بغاوت نہیں، احتساب کرنا دشمنی نہیں، اور قیادت سے جواب مانگنا غداری نہیں۔ اگر قیادت کمزور ہے تو اسے مضبوط کریں، اگر غلط ہے تو اسے درست کریں — مگر سچ کو دفن نہ کریں۔
یہ وقت جذباتی نعروں کا نہیں، سنجیدہ مزاحمت کا ہے۔ یہ وقت تعریفوں کا نہیں، جواب دہی کا ہے۔ اگر ہم نے اب بھی خود احتسابی نہ کی تو تاریخ لکھے گی کہ ایک تحریک کو مخالفین نے نہیں، اپنوں کی نااہلی اور بے عملی نے کمزور کیا۔
خان کی جدوجہد کو نعرہ نہیں، حکمت چاہیے۔ اور حکمت وہاں پیدا ہوتی ہے جہاں سچ بولنے کی ہمت ہو۔

No action was taken by Jail authorities until Imran Khan lost complete vision in his right eye. He was then given treatment in PIMS but despite that he has 15% vision in right eye. Access to specialist doctors has now been provided by SC. It’s a case of deliberate negligence.
