Unpopular take but I don’t think there’s anything wrong with choosing to stay at one company up to retirement. Assuming that all of your wants and needs are being met. PTO, pay, upward mobility, etc.

I went to public NYC Hs. I was surrounded by Black Latino and Asian students of all backgrounds. I dealt with racism but nothing close to when I attended a PWI for undergrad. Atp I realized my NYC HS was a bubble from the “real” world…

Your child WILL be socially isolated at a predominantly white school. I was. The kids werent mean to me at all. I went to school with good kids who grew up with me in our small rural area. But still I was a Black girl. And my parents knew they had to work EXTRA hard to foster my racial self esteem.
