Every letter in the new Amazonia logo is a real bend of the Amazon river, traced from satellite imagery across different Brazilian states. The river literally spelled its own name and someone was paying enough attention to notice.

Think about what had to happen for this to exist.

Somebody spent hours staring at satellite maps of the Amazon, not looking for a logo, just looking. And at some point a curve of water stopped being a curve of water and became a letter. Then another one. Then the whole alphabet was hiding in plain sight inside the geography of a country.

No brief leads there. No prompt leads there. "Logo for the Amazon rainforest" gets you a leaf, a toucan, maybe a stylized tree. It does not get you "the river spells its own name, go trace it."

That's the part no prompt gets you to. AI optimizes inside a solution space. Designers decide what the solution space is in the first place.

With Apple Pay, your real card number never really leaves your device. When you add your card, the bank creates a special replacement number called a Device Account Number (DAN). That DAN is stored securely inside the phone’s Secure Enclave chip, not on Apple’s servers. When you pay, your phone sends this DAN plus a one-time cryptographic code to the merchant. The merchant never sees your real card, and Apple doesn’t process the transaction itself. It’s basically: phone → bank → done. Everything sensitive stays on the device.

With Google Pay, the idea is similar but the path is different. Instead of storing everything only on the device chip, Google often uses cloud tokenization. Your card info is linked to Google’s servers, which generate payment tokens during transactions. When you tap to pay, a token is fetched/created and sent to the merchant, then validated by the bank. So it’s more like: phone → Google server → bank. Still secure, but it relies more on the cloud.

So both systems hide your real card number. Apple leans more toward hardware-based security (on-device chip), while Google leans more toward server/cloud-based token management.

In simple terms:
Apple Pay locks your card inside your phone.
Google Pay locks your card behind Google’s servers.

Either way, the shop never gets your real card details; which is why mobile payments are often safer than swiping your physical card.

Netflix Live is one of those things that looks simple on the screen, but the engineering behind it is brutal.

A livestream is not like a normal Netflix movie.

A movie can be cached everywhere, pre-encoded, and if your internet blips you just buffer and recover. A live stream has a moving “now”. Millions of people are watching the same moment, and they all want it close to real time.

So how does Netflix livestream at scale:

1. Ingest + redundancy
They take the live feed into multiple regions and multiple encoders. One encoder dying cannot be allowed to kill the stream.

2. Real-time encoding into many versions
They chop the stream into small chunks and encode multiple bitrates (240p to 4K). Our player keeps switching levels based on your network, without you noticing.

3. Massive global distribution via Open Connect
Instead of sending traffic from one “origin” to the whole world, they push those chunks near ISPs using Netflix’s CDN boxes. This reduces backbone load and keeps latency stable.

4. Keep the origin alive with buffering strategy
They tune segment sizes, playlist windows, and player logic so you stay near-live but do not constantly stall. Too low latency = more stalls. Too much buffer = feels delayed. This is a constant tradeoff.

5. Observability + fast rollback
They watch rebuffer rate, join time, bitrate shifts, error codes per device/ISP/region. If one config change spikes failures, rollback fast or route traffic differently.

In short free solo and successful livestreams are not easy feat (literally)

It is now undisputed that Dr Taufik’s medical qualification is not recognised in Malaysia and that he has never been a registered doctor here.

MMC says he may use the “Dr” title but cannot practise medicine in any form.

So the question is: do these photos amount to evidence of impersonating a qualified medical doctor?

Issues shown:
– Use of medical equipment (stethoscope, BP cuff)
– Direct interaction with bedridden patients
– Past campaign materials claiming he was a “General Practitioner” at a local clinic

Did he misrepresent himself as a qualified doctor, leading patients to give consent to be examined - as in the photos (that Taufik himself uploaded - under false pretences?

Based on information published by PKR, statements made by the now newly-appointed Minister of Sports and Youth, Mohammed Taufiq Johari during the GE15 campaign, and media reports, his education and career are as follows:

Education:

– 2020: Bandung Islamic University, Faculty of Medicine

Career:
– 2020: General Doctor, Emergency Department, Hospital Dr Slamet, Garut, Indonesia
– 2021: Internship Program, Hospital Al-Ihsan, Bandung, Indonesia
– 2022: General Practitioner, Klinik Dr Hadi, Sungai Petani
– 2022: Liaison Officer, Sungai Petani MP Service Centre
– 2022: Elected MP for Sungai Petani
– 2025: Appointed Minister of Youth and Sports

In Malaysia, to be a registered doctor and legally practise as a GP, one must hold an MMC-recognised medical degree, undergo provisional registration, complete 24 months of housemanship in approved Malaysian hospitals, obtain full MMC registration, and hold a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).

Checks on the MMC website show that Bandung Islamic University is not on the MMC recognised list, and his name has never appeared on the MMC register. The records presented by him and his party also do not show that he ever completed housemanship in Malaysia.

Overseas housemanship is not recognised, transferable, or creditable in Malaysia. MMC rules require housemanship to be completed in Malaysia at hospitals approved by the Ministry of Health and MMC.

Legally, this means he would not be qualified to practise as a GP or work in a Malaysian clinic, let alone be a licensed doctor. This raises a serious question as to how he could call himself a registered doctor and work as a GP at Klinik Dr Hadi for about a year.

Under the Medical Act 1971, practising medicine without MMC registration is a criminal offence, punishable by a fine of up to RM50,000, imprisonment of up to three years, or both. Clinics that allow unregistered individuals to practise may also face legal action, including closure.

This is not about politics or intentions. It is about patient safety and compliance with the law. In medicine, there is no room for “close enough”.

He has now been appointed a full minister by the Madani government, despite being a first-term MP and never having served as a deputy minister, while his father is the Speaker of the Dewan Rakyat - which is again a clear conflict of interest.

1. Cambodia and Thai have a tumultuous relationship and are historical enemies for centuries.

2. Scam centers contribute a significant part of Cambodia's GDP. Strongly rumored to have governmental backing.

3. Scams heavily targeted Thais due to knowledge of culture and society. (of course they target basically everyone at SEA too). Accoridng to some reports, up to 60% of Thai adults have been subjected to scam attempts. It is a serious drain on Thai economy, up to 4 billion USD.

I didnt research on where the scam originate from mostly but it is reasonable to assume many came from operations run on Cambodian territory.
