@enterpelek @DailyTurkic Nahor osh (Uzbek: Nahorgi osh / Nahor oshi) means “morning plov”. It is a traditional Uzbek version of osh (plov/pilaf) served early in the morning, usually around 6–9 AM, especially during big gatherings such as weddings, celebrations, or memorial events.

@CalebChao9 @Yamnayaa @mio_japan_love I don’t think there is genocide against Uyghurs, but they seem to be losing their language, writing, and culture, gradually adopting Chinese ways. Uyghurs and Uzbeks(me) speak nearly the same language (~95% similar).

@ErJ_Ahmad They left their homes in Central Asia to fight against the German army. Then, dressed in rags, they were taken as prisoners to a concentration camp in the Netherlands. Few now alive remember the 101 mostly Uzbek men who were killed in a forest near Amersfoort in 1942
