In een raadplegend referendum heeft het Nederlandse electoraat zich op 1 juni 2005 uitgesproken tegen een Europese grondwet. Volgens de uitslag was 61,5 procent tegen en 38,5 procent vóór. De opkomst bij dit referendum was 63,3 procent. #Nexit

Belangrijk artikel van mijn collega @Focusscience1 bij @sypwynia waarin hij laat zien dat de overheid aan luchtfietserij doet als het gaat om de beloftes van wind op zee.
Dit is nu nota bene aangetoond door onderzoek van de @tudelft. Ik hoop oprecht dat dit betekent dat de universiteiten hun ideologische veren gaan afwerpen en zich weer met zo objectief mogelijke wetenschap gaan bezighouden, zoals dit Delftse artikel in ieder geval heeft gedaan.
Een paar belangrijke citaten uit het artikel van Arnout:

"Deze week verscheen namelijk een artikel in het vakblad Cell Reports Sustainability, onder andere door onderzoekers van de TU Delft, met slecht nieuws over grote windparken op zee: hun elektriciteitsproductie wordt te hoog ingeschat. Die overschatting gebeurt voor alle windparken op zee, ook die in Denemarken, Duitsland en België, maar Nederland is op dat punt koploper. Koploper luchtfietserij, dus."

"In bovenstaand plaatje zien we de windparken van Jetten (het Nederlandse vlaggetje) op eenzame hoogte staan: volgens de officiële planning gaan die een capaciteitsfactor halen van 53 procent, terwijl de prognose van de Delftse ingenieurs op hoogstens 40 procent uitkomt (de doorgetrokken blauwe lijn bij de gegeven Wind Farm Wind Factor), maar in de praktijk eerder 35 procent (de blauwe stippellijn). Die windparken gaan dus een derde minder stroom leveren dan begroot."

"Dat is voor de economische levensvatbaarheid (dan wel de subsidiehonger) van die projecten een enorm verschil. Het betekent ook domweg dat de energievoorziening van Nederland in gevaar komt als dit wordt doorgezet."

"Die lagere capaciteitsfactor vertaalt zich direct in een hogere kostprijs per megawattuur dan tot nu toe begroot: voor Nederland gaat die van 77 euro naar 115 euro, veel hoger dan de kostprijs van kernenergie."

Arnout geeft ook een citaat van de Delftse onderzoekers. Hier een deel ervan:

"Toen we dit onderzoek twee jaar geleden begonnen, waren de Nederlandse doelen al over-optimistisch; sindsdien zijn de beleidsaannames alleen maar verder afgedreven van de fysische realiteit, wat de risico’s van te veel beloven en te weinig leveren vergroot."

Arnout werd bekend door zijn boek De Stikstoffuik, maar zijn boek De Klimaatoptimist werd weer vrijwel genegeerd door de media en de politiek. Terwijl klimaatbeleid ons nog veel meer kost dan het eveneens absurde stikstofbeleid.

▪️Norwegian police tried to illegally enter MY house after I exposed how leaders in a religious cult engaged in what many consider to be grooming behavior.

▪️People in Britain are sent to years in jail for posts on social media.

▪️A man was convicted for "hate speech" in Sweden after burning a religious book in protest.

▪️A 74 year old woman in Sweden was convicted and fined for criticizing mass migration.

For ECR Co-Chairmen @NProcaccini and @PatrykJaki, the ruling highlights deep structural problems in how the DSA is being interpreted and enforced.

The ECR Group notes that the Commission itself struggled to explain the calculation of the €120 million fine, referring only to “proportionality” rather than any measurable formula. This lack of clarity adds to concerns among lawmakers, researchers and industry that the DSA is being applied with excessive discretion.

We will request further explanations from the Commission regarding the proportionality assessment and will continue to push for a DSA that protects users without creating avenues for politicised or arbitrary enforcement.

The European Union is a creation of the bureaucrats designed to give all power to the bureaucrats.

The people of Europe have no ability to vote the bureaucrats out of power. All of the power in the EU is appointed. The President of the EU, the EU Commission … all appointed.

They literally control, within their tiny group, every appointment that is made for real power. Voters never get involved.
