#F1Testing || One of the innovations seen on the Ferrari is the new flap added to the exhaust outlet.

The team ran an aero fluid session to see the airflow at the rear after the new parts.

It's being said that Ferrari deliberately saved this update for the final day, potentially gaining an average of 0.150 to 0.250 seconds in performance with it. The basic principle is to convert the air from the exhaust into downforce.

This morning, some names, including [Andrea] Stella, examined this area for a long time.

👀 Ferrari hasn't gone near first gear in the way its rival F1 manufacturers have so far in testing.

That seems to have everything to do with an engine design choice for 2026 - and that's a fascinating bit of technical divergence.
