Wine lover (WSET Advanced) & NonStop computing consultant. Red Burgundy is my first love but well aged Bordeaux takes some beating.

@AppleSupport The download for iOS 18.7.7 fails to verify for install .... looks like a signing issue since all the usual fixes don't work. Apple community says many customers who cannot take iOS 26 are facing the same issue with the 18.7.7 download

@implausibleblog Let us not forget the £34Bn wasted by the previous Government on Track & Track. How can anybody spend that amount on an IT project? This is almost 50% of the cost of HS2 which is a multi-year construction project
@JustinNSGA 40+ years before Kubernetes (K8S) there was TS/MP with Pathmon. HPE NonStop was light years ahead of the industry delivering modular component-based applications, elasticity and fault tolerance without special app coding. It's a brilliant container for today's microservices
@ATaylorFPGA@clairebubblepop Schools don't get enough money - the DfE benchmarking site demonstrates funding per pupil head declined since 2010 since Michael Gove was Education Secretary. He reduced school capital budgets impacting repairs & increased NI & redundancy comes out of existing school budgets
Great podcast interview of Greg La Follette by Jim Duane about Burgundian techniques and commercial vs high end viticulture, winemaking & letting vines express themselves https://t.co/pTObQVkEvU
@jamiegoode@CalifWinesUK@CalifWines_US Did you get to try any of my old friend Greg La Follette’s Marchelle bottlings? Big fan of PN & PM from van der Kamp vineyard. I love his wild fermentations to express the vineyards. His history as a winemaker is fascinating
@carolvorders@BBCNews Let us not forget the monstrous waste of Dido Harding and the Track & Trace IT system. It's budget was HUGE at a reported £22Bn and it overspent by £10Bn-£15Bn. The IFS talks about a budget hole for the next Government ... maybe this is why?
What an oxymoron, Michael Gove MP as the Levelling Up Secretary .......... the man who single handedly slashed school capital funding, per pupil funding and 3 year budget cycling when he was Education Secretary from 2010. Check out the DfE benchmarking history on funding
