Mythos just isn't being released cuz it's too expensive to run, and they don't want to explain why it isn't included in the subscriptions & API calls costs hundreds of dollars

[ileFix @ileFixDev]

When China vs. Taiwan?
(I do not support wars)

[ileFix @ileFixDev]

@FernetBuehler Und das ist wirklich schade. Ich würde gerne hier gründen. Es ist allerdings einfach unsinnig.

[ileFix @ileFixDev]

@novax2199 @pcshipp How does this answer the question? 😭

[ileFix @ileFixDev]

What is the real purpose of infra startups like supabase? Why should anyone use it, when it takes only a few minutes to set it up on a VPS?
The only reason I could see is scaling because that’s harder to do on your own but you can‘t use such because egress costs will kill you.
So what’s the purpose?

[ileFix @ileFixDev]

@SebJohnsonUK @kirbyman01 @elevenlabs There are legit so many people that want to build startups but it’s so insanely hard to do & raise capital it’s insane

[ileFix @ileFixDev]

It's also relatively straight forward to migrate using pq dump and synced writes without any real downtime.

[ileFix @ileFixDev]

It takes legit 1-2h to completely setup either a postgres or a self-hosted supabase instance on a $20/m VPS. No real reason to use any service imo.

[Prakhar Shukla @imprakharshukla]

Supabase had 6 incidents in 8 days. Their status page shows "All Systems Operational" while auth and database are down. No public post-mortems.

If you're running production with paying users, consider:

→ @PlanetScale (MySQL, branching) (@samlambert offering migrations too ig?)
→ @Railway (Postgres, solid reliability)
→ @flydotio Managed Postgres
→ @CloudflareDev D1
→ @awscloud RDS

Isolate your services. One platform going down shouldn't lock users out entirely.

Time for a Launchpad to launch Launchpads to launch Launchpads

[eric @defyneric]

> pumpfun allowed anyone launch your own memecoin

> shopify made it possible for anyone to launch their own website

> issuers like bridge, rain, reap, iron, kulipa let anyone launch their own card program

do you see the pattern

take a process that used to require a ton of headache and friction

and reduce it to a clean dashboard and a few clicks

Trenches so bad I coded a lottery a few days ago so people can loose all of their $sol at once.

everything on-chain and open-sourced
one winner every 24h

[ileFix @ileFixDev]

Wait until the guys calling for an open-source discord alternative find out about scaling efficiently for billions of messages, voice-chats and livestreams

Not starting with german investors (there aren't any)

[arsen @arsenfounder]

sf angels throw money at anything with a pitch deck.

london angels want 14 meetings and a tea before writing $10k.

name one from london/sf worth dealing with

[ileFix @ileFixDev]

They should've invested some of the $70m in to the infra

[ileFix @ileFixDev]

@JupiterExchange def one of the best, if not the best overall product on $sol

[Solana Sensei @SolanaSensei]

Jupiter users paid $4 million in fees in the last 24 hours, ranking higher than Pumpfun, Meteora and everyone else.

One of the few projects that still profits during bear markets.

Great fucking tek tbh.

Now is the perfect time to build new things on chain. Time to find something that hasn't already been built 100 times before...

Successfully round-tripped $150k. Time to touch some grass (or snow) and buy back at lower levels 🫡

8% up since I sold ($5k+) has to be a generational troll ngl
